You know what guys, screw this.
I've taken what baseballlover has into consideration.
I'm going to be taking more time off, to complete the database, so that it can hopefully represent the last season of my PCM 10 story better.
I think everyone will appreciate this decision, just expect it to take a bit more time, thank you!

It's your decision Valverde, do what YOU want to do and not what anyone else wants
Whatever you do i can guarantee it will be a good read |

Sorry everyone for everything thats going on.
My mind is clearly clouded, as I cant make any straight decisions and stick with them.
If you really dont give a f*** at this point dont read on
Spoiler I dont even know if I want to post this, but I think it may just go back to being about David Veilleux. I dont have time for two riders and it would be a tragedy to stop reporting David. Plus the Ian Bibby story has given me more motivation for the allrounder.
Once again, sorry, and believe me, this is not normal for me. And at the very least, I can report that the editing is going a lot quicker than planned.
Sometimes I just dont realise things until after. Please forgive me for changing my mind, back and forth so many times

Is Veilleux still gonna be on Spidertech?
P.S. Please note that these comments aren't coming out of nowhere, I followed the PCM 10 story, I just didn't comment often

As an avid supporter of your many stories from when I first join the site I just want to give you some well needed support
Good luck with whatever direction you take and I'm sure you will figure something out that works soon because you are a fantastic story writer.

I appreciate the idea of focussing on David only. You're saying you haven't much time, so that seems the best thing to do. About the type of rider, I can tell you that it's of course fun to have a climber who can fight for overall classifications, but there are also lots of stages where you can't do anything. So an allrounder has its advantages as well.
Also, don't force yourself to anything. Write and play when you feel like doing so (and have the time, of course ). Otherwise, you'll get only more frustrated. But who am I telling that, you're an experienced story writer after all
Whatever you do, good luck and have fun with it!

Thanks a lot everyone, for the kind and undertanding words
Mre- Thank you very much!
Cunego - Thanks very much! Your point about having more times where David will be able to compete is a very good point!
And you are right! I just like to provide the best I can, with my stories and I wasn't doing that before.
Update: I am now almost complete with the addition of new sponsors, and transfers of riders! I want to complete this in the next few nights, so I can get the season going.

Hey everyone!
Its great to finally be writing in my blog again, after a long break, thanks to my major leg injury. Because of my injury, I may find it harder to focus on my sprinting, but my climbing legs could also get better.
I also have some big news, because the newest teams for next season were officially confirmed a week or two ago. I can list them off for you!
New Teams
Spoiler 7-Eleven Cycling Team
They return to the sport, and could challenge to be the best American team!
Spoiler Red Bull Cycling Team
The popular sports drink, and pro teams in many other sports, it was time they had a cycling team! And they have a few stars who could lead them to the Top of the Cycling World.
Spoiler Santander Racing
This team was created by Fernando Alonso, and although it did work out last season, Telefonica decided to give the team up to Santander completely. Contador and Sanchez lead the team like last year, but look at the supporting cast, because its good!
Spoiler Sporza Cycling Team
The next Belgian team with a shot at making it to the ProTour. They have signed a few big name riders, and the sponsors seem very financially stable.
So those were some of the bigger sponsors, to join the cycling scene, but there are a few lesser ones replacing old ones.
All this news makes me excited for the new season, so I cant wait for the rosters to be finalised and we can all see who's on which team. I already know I will be riding for Spidertech! I enjoyed my time at Sky, but it was time to pay dues to my national team, and what better way than riding for Steve Bauer, where I will learn a thing or two.
Bye for now!

Okay everyone, I need some opinions. I want to get to racing as soon as possible, and I'd be willing to post just short reviews of each team, so that I could get them done in a night or two. The other option is to analyse each team, very in-depth but as a result, it would probably take me about a week to get all the team reviews done.
Now I try to make sure my stuff is as high quality as "I" can manage, but in this situation, I think I'd rather just get to racing, after all the animosity I have created from before.

I agree with jakstar22 here. Usually, I like detailed previews but in this case, I figure the risk of you losing the motivation again is too high

I agree With you longer previews we might never see any racing as you possibly can change your mind again, while if you start racing it will become exciting for you and us

If I was you I would you just skip it and let us discover the teams over the races. To be honest I don't really read the team reviews very often. I like those surprising moments when you see Andy Schleck in Liquigas or something like that. Whatever you do, do it quick so I can see David racing again!

Thank you everyone
I know what I will be doing, and all i can say is that I have no plans of "losing my motivation" this time around. I guess I can't really plan for it, but everything seems to be going well.
I think I will make a spectacular team presentation to make up for it though
I've also updated the placeholder posts on the first page, although most of it, is just copied from my other thread, so nothing new
