Not the brightest performance for the Div2 guys there, but as others have pointed out, this might make easier to get into the breakaways.

Lucky escape for Alarcon, but he will need to position himself a lot better on the next stage, if he's going to challenge for a podium overall.
And I feel sorry for the favourites who got caught behind in the decisive split, simply annoying. Nice report, roturn, I found it very informative, and you had me on the edge when Alarcon was dropped.

While Pozzo got lucky there, you'd have to say that was an absolutely shocking stage.
I wouldn't mind the narrow roads and the splits if the AI faought for positioning coming on to those roads, but as it doesn't it just ends up a bit of a lottery.
Looks like Pozzo/Valverde/Alarcon battling for the overall now. Having said that Pozzo pulled out a big gap in Slovenia so not over for Rujano/VDB yet. |

VDB actually was in the first group. So he still belongs to the top favourites.
I might have some time this afternoon to play and report the first mountain stage. |

Every fucking time, every fucking... Might be that others also are unlucky, but I feel my riders get caught behind every time and my race down the table contiue...

Shittiest game ever, now it's all about stage wins.
- Good report Roturn and Congrats to Rujano - it gives me a little hope that VDB still has a little role to play in this race.

Really felt sorry for you, when seeing this happening.
For Rothaus it was a decent stage. Ruijgh was looking strong when attacking together with Lövkvist. In the end both of them lost some time again against later riders.
But it was nice to see that Ruijgh was the leader and not waiting for Novak.
And also good to see that Novak will wear the point jersey yet another day. |

Really rough on Pirelli there. Pretty crash riddled few stages, time for the D2 riders to get into the breaks.

Hey, D2 boys, you forget why are you here? Attack!
Congats to Pokerstars, this was typical Rujano. Also nice top 10 for two Ukrainians Ratiy and Krasnoperov, i am watching them closer and closer

I think anyone with an eye on young talents is watching Ratiy. Doubt Heine would be daft enough to let him go though.
Yep, we aren't doing much. The Dyson curse of not attacking has followed me here. |

That was very satisfying. Great climb from Caruso.
Now I hope for a similar kind of performance on Grossglockner, and he should be back in the battle for a Top 5 spot overall.

Well, they might be watching, but they dont have Ukrainian team to tease him with the home surroundings
Btw. he has maxed out stats iirc and i know Heine will certainly want to hold him, but nothing bad on putting a bit pressure.

That was disappointing from Alarcon, I think. He seemed to be in prime position, only to not be able to follow Rujano on the narrow roads. The yellow jersey is good though, but it won't be enough ahead of the time trial, meaning he has to somehow gain time on the closest followers.
Once again, good report, roturn. Hopefully we can manage to control dangerous breakaways on the coming stages.

Good by Ratiy, if he just hadn't been caught behind...
