How awesome was that - video's 
Certainly was a very nice stage as well.
Where to start - well a bonus for the attacking Veloso, he did well to get himself up with Cancellara and a bit of a telling off for Impey, he really has to learn to get himself in a better place if he is going to nick a podium. Stage two is the day to get in the early break though and nab some serious KoM points.
Cunego is looking very hungry and congrats to Sony Ericsson, Trofimov looked like a decent outside bet to take yellow in Corsica and he has it on stage one.
Kashechkin dropped - who cares, though it may mean he goes for polkadots as he has done before.

Awesome report.
Vaugrenard was in the breakaway. Exactly what he needs to do here.
And decent ride by Kreder as well. Didn't expect to see him in the top 10 today.

Fantastic report SN, might have been the best I've ever read but if you continue with this style, then there might be even greater things to come!
Dramatic final, I really rooted for the Frenchman but in the end a nice win for Sony Ericsson.

I like the video's too - the crash one was cruel though. If Cunego goes down at some point, I don't want to see a video of it. |

Damn, I can tell Cunego is going to pick up bonus seconds in the sprint.
A pity that Ventoso got slightly boxed in there, he could have had a decent shot at victory.

What a awesome stage and what a awesome finish!
I have to thank Vesuvio for performing a great lead out, without it Duret would have had it, but also Trofimov for realizing that Vesuvio was going too slow, hehe.
Finger crossed Trofimov can keep the jersey for a couple of stages now, and then just limit his losses in the mountains. A top 10 should then be possible and I really can't afford failing this goal as I've already missed two.

Very interesting start for me. Two attackers despite having two decent sprinter.

Seems like it... Will be very interesting as to what will happen. A breakaway seems very likely. Perhaps even a win to Kashechkin already the day after his crash?

The amazing reporting continues with yet another win for Trofimov. Didn't expect to see people outside the time limit so early on though, and some stupidity from Velits there costing him a lot of time. |

Great report, it was exciting reading the KoM battle and the sprint was frantic at the end. Trofimov is proving great though and shame for Velits. PCM fucked up his chances now. He may go for the stage wins though now in breaks.
