bad stage for me too
what happened to Kern? he couldn´t normally loose 12 minutes on pack
He obviously crashed early in the race while the breakaway was formed according to the exported "events". Must have missed it while playing. |

Nevermind, thanks
Hopefully, last stage will go to the mass sprint, with decent chance for Guillen/Dumoulin to make good result, saving this race for me partially.

It's a disappointing race from us here though one look at the top six or so underlines that expectations could not and should not have been that high for riders like Kirchen (or for that matter Boom!).
Bianchi deserved that win really for chasing the break down - I thought they may have had a chance to take the stage there.
Hopes are that in this last stage we either are one of the key chasers for Brown or perhaps more hopeful is that we get in a successful breakaway.
Team WWE are having the kind of race that we are accostummed to though in a really top quality field - well done to them.

Team WWE seems to be unable to win but are (almost) always in a break, and works well as a team. At least these riders do. I like what I see. Too bad Astarloza is injured. :/

I don't care about Gautier losing contact but Elijzen losing contact really pisses me off. There goes my chance for a top 10.

Learned a lot in this race, Roche won't be racing in stage races that doesn't contain a tougher course though it's hard to find a race where he will shine. A small MTF and a couple of hilly stages would be perfect for him but I might look out for some massive training in either climbing/hill for the next season.
- Congratulations to Bianchi, well deserved stage win though I had hoped for a more attacking display by Roche. Good to see another Pirelli rider in the break, and even more to see Busche put some pressure on the peloton with his late attack.

Pleased to see the CSC-Orbea colors in the breakaway in every stage so far, but really I'm taking away a few ranking points again. So I guess another disappointing tour.

Ginanni is close to the win and I'm pleased with the second place. I'm going to be feeling nervous until Vespa actually bring home the bacon on the final stage and chase the break down. |

Congrats to Trilux for the stage win. Also to Vespa for their race victory.
Sorry to Smowz for making Brown a stage favourite.
Unfortunately Van Heerden was also on his wheel. Could have podiumed if beeing behind Dumoulin or the Smukulis, Pineau lane.
Was fun to report the race. Less fun to see my team being that dumb... At least a stage win, 2nd by Boom, 4th by Passeron and 2nd in the KoM will bring me some points at least, also I would have prefered to see Boom in the top 10 and Hermans top 15 maybe winning the team ranking instead of the 2nd in KoM. This all ended with stage 3. |

Good showing by young Kinney and the only regret in this race was that Roche perhaps should had responded earlier to "the move of the race" on stage 2.
Fourth is still decent, and it is a fine way to start what will be a crucial time for Pirelli.
Well done Ginanni and Vespta - nice win there!

Yes - a win for Ginanni. Been a long time coming in a stage race.
That makes it 1 out of 3 goals for Vespa so far this season, which makes it even more important as the remaining too will be very tough.
Tough luck for Pokerstars in the final stage there - always frustrating to see your team working at the front and then not delivering.
And thanks for reporting roturn - cracking pace.

Great stage, saves some points i couldn't get with my breakaway-tactics.
Reports were as good as always, big thanks to all reporters once again.

I will be so bold and call this race a success. Two riders in top 10, 3 in top 11, and team ranking win is not bad. At least not for my team.

Disappointing race. So many potentially deciding stages, when in the end only one of them was useful, even though the victory went to the probably best rider. I believe LLS could have been a little better, but 5th is good enough for a Target Race, especially given the current situation my team is experiencing.

Sanchez was at least one of the most attacking rider I think. He tried it several times in comparison to Roche for example.
Claeys, Ginanni and Di Maggio just have 3-4 points more in hills, so it was just between Sanchez and Roche, when looking on the stats. |

I see, it all came down to a matter of luck between Roche and Sanchez. Nice to hear that anyway, thanks roturn.
