Wauw - thanks for that Bazajev, brilliant to have a stage win and to have the leader jersey for one day (probably not more) is great.

Good to see the likes of Quinziato active - fairly strong - though I've no doubt he'll miss the one that makes it.... |

This race almost feels like a game of chess, someone surely will look to play a gambit tomorrow. Jayco have a fair few powerful pieces in play (Moreno, Calzati, Veloso, Gadret and Sonnery), I can but hope that one of the five tries something on stage 5 or stage 6.
I will certainly take another decent stage showing on stage 4, espicially when you consider how badly former Red Bull rider Haider Anuawar is doing. He seems to have fallen into the Gavazzi cannot be bothered to sprint category.

Hehehe...Gavazzi is not that good a sprinter. In PCM10 he had a chance - seemed like anyone with 76+ in sprint could win a stage. This version seems to more consistently go to the faster sprinters. |

This is exactly what I feel with Cucinotta, who is actually even better than Gavazzi. On the other hand Haedo is just 76 and proving to be strong... |

Looks like the GC-favourites wait for the final stage A bit surprising to see that break being allowed to stay away for more than four minutes.. but it's okay for me, as Ford took his second 5th place here

Awesome... I think!
Goal here is top 5, the stage win and KOM is nice. But we need top 5 |

Nice to see our Australian friends from Emu taking another win, although our team tried to chase the break Strange to see Thuaux leading the pack, he's our last hope for the mountain-stage.. anyway, we won't see Oz Cycling Project leading a chase too often this year, so thanks for this screens

Two really poor stages....I presume it was mostly down to settings in the .db - a mountain finish and a hilly stage lacking any attacks....
EDIT - But to be positive - cracking pace, roturn. Nice one.

Great reports roturn!
I'm very pleased with Roux, a shame he couldn't take advantage of the hilly stage 6, but I guess I can't complain when he was in the breakaway on stage 5
Hopefully Roux can keep a top 10 overall, that would have been great. |

"Check"
Veloso has a real chance of the GC win here, mind you allowing Kairelis to move so close to the lead was a bit of an error. Not sure whether we have played a blinder here or not really. We've sacrificed our usual team win here to Emu already by the looks unless we can get in another breakaway.
I think the 'dullness' of the stages is more down to the actual stages themselves rather than the settings. The pack are not really forcing the pace and the 'mountain' on stage five was pretty pathetic.
Hopes for the next couple of stages is with Sonnery I guess who is still in the hunt for the points jersey.

Nice win again! My team is finally one to be feared
I'm still worried that I might achieve everything in this race besides my main goal of GC top 5
Anyway, good racing so far.

Failing goals aint that dangerous, I failed 4 of 5 last year, still got a a good budget ;-)
I like this race til now, unpredictable

Thanks for the positive critics. Still trying to improve from race to race.
I might try to post two stages a day this weekend, so the race should be finished Sunday evening or at least Monday morning.
Except of you want it slower.
It`s pretty interesting to report this race as there is lots of action on all the stages.
Especially Emu Export did very well finding the good breaks on the last 3 stages.
But also Veloso did great with his break. Definitely an advantage if you have that many good riders in this race.

Wow, what a speed, roturn! And quality reports as well.
Well, that race surely fulfills my expectations so far. A Top10 in the prologue, presence in every BOTD so far and three good stage results when the breakaway succeeded.
Sadly, two crashes ruined our small hopes of a decent GC result, but that wasn't a goal anyways.

Can't believe that even our third climber crashed out There won't be many races this year, where Oz Cycling would have a chance to compete in the mountains.. so, please: breakaway
At least, Ford is doing well so far, although it's unlikely that we will defend his position in final stage.. maybe he can defend a Top-10 or something..

Geez, again! Sending a strong team has payed off I guess, even with the leader down we still have a few guys in with a chance.

Oh boy, that was an absolute disaster for us
Suddenly, there's no way we can grab a top 15 overall, a shame, as our riders were doing great. I can only hope for another stage win now, would be nice if we could do that. |

This race is turning out to be perhaps the best yet for the team, though with the weakest line up!
Bazajev would be quite unlucky if he lose the green jersey, while Kinney might be able to end inside the top 10 - something that would be amazing consider the quality in the peloton. I hope the final stage won't have too big time gaps, and that the team will fully support Kinney, because he will need all the help he can get!
- Good report once again Roturn

It's breakaway and crashtastic here in Taiwan, really hope we are saving something special for stage 9 and 10 here. Stage 8 is surely one for Bazajev but I guess the break could have a chance also.
The GC is surely between the top four though cannot see how any of them will lose 4 and a half minutes on that last climb. But I guess we shall see when we get there!
