Team Apple - Steve [Australian Championships]
YvesStevens
An Incredible team, you should win now the Tdf, Green Jersey and arden tripple xD

rorzcp
Australian ITT

Favourites:
R. Porte(SKY) M.Rogers(HTC) C.Evans(APL)

and before we know it the race is underway. The first rider to set off is C.Winn(V Australia):

img805.imageshack.us/img805/6460/pcm0051.png

and here we can see the first of the Meyer brothers(both minor favourites). This is Travis, the lesser in time trial ability:

img717.imageshack.us/img717/56/pcm0053x.png

Heinrich Haussler as he leaves the start ramp. Haussler is a decent time trialist, could he pull off something big?

img705.imageshack.us/img705/9914/pcm0054q.png

An hour has past and now we start to some of the big names that are most likely. Here is bobridge, could he pull something off?

img12.imageshack.us/img12/4907/pcm0056f.png

and here it is the first rider ever to have ridden in the Team Apple - Steve colours, Luke Durbridge.

Standings Update!

A the provisional standings none of Team AS have passed through but the standings are:
1. H.Haussler(GRM)
2. T.Meyer(GRM) +17''
3. L. Roberts(SBS) +18''
4. M. Wilson +25''

Only one rider has passed over the finish line.

Luke Durbridge in his TT-Position.

img6.imageshack.us/img6/9457/pcm0060t.png

At the first checkpoint Luke Durbridge has failed to make a Top 5. although luke usually does a second sector faster.

The second of the Meyer brothers taking off, looking good. maybe a win today?

img546.imageshack.us/img546/1941/pcm0061.png

A nervous Rogers checks all his equipment as he waits on the starting ramp.

img52.imageshack.us/img52/929/pcm0062j.png

Here we see a screen each of the three favourites.
img717.imageshack.us/img717/3181/pcm0064r.pngimg9.imageshack.us/img9/2227/pcm0066z.png
img209.imageshack.us/img209/8969/pcm0065.png

Durbridge's lack of form mixed with a sickness of Rorzcp being crap at TT disease he fails to make a top 5.
The rankings at the line are as follows:
1. H. Haussler
2. J. Bobridge
3. T. Meyer

I expect two(if not all) of these rider's to be knocked of the podium in the coming minutes.

At the first timecheck, I am embarresed to say Evans has clocked a last placing, while he is screaming into the microphone ' I HAVE NO LEGS, THEY ARE DEAD!'

In comes Michael Rogers, clocking a 4th best time. Maybe Haussler has today all wrapped up?
img143.imageshack.us/img143/6626/pcm0067x.png

Porte crosses the line in.... 11th place. Heinrich Haussler is the new Australian TT Champ because Cadel has no form and will not change the standings today.

img35.imageshack.us/img35/5540/pcm0068o.png

At this very moment in time i think i speak for the team when i say ' what the fuck ' Cadel has come from 1'15''back(last) at the first check to finish 19' seconds behind Haussler and score himself a podium. Cadel is one strong man and must have rode himself into form. Allez Cadel you champ.

The game crashed on me so i have to type out the results so im only doing Top 10.

1 Heinrich Haussler Team Garmin-Cervelo 56'33''
2 Cameron Meyer Team Garmin Cervelo +6''
3 Cadel Evans Team Apple Steve +19''
4 Jack Bobridge Team Garmin-Cervelo +26''
5 Michael Rogers Sky ProCycling +43''
6 Travis Meyer Team Gramin-Cervelo +50''
7 Luke Roberts Saxo Bank Sungard +50''
8 Zakkari Dempster Rapha Condor - Sharp +1'05''
9 Brett Lancaster Team Garmin-Cervelo +1'07''
10 Michael Freiberg V Australia 1'09''
....
20 Luke Durbridge Team Apple - Steve +1'31''

Word from the Manager talking to cyclingnews.com: 'This race was up and down for us, Cadel knew he was out of form and told Luke to go for the win, and then Luke got out there and had that sickness and then Cadel went out there and set the slowest time, at that time i was thinking, Apple is going to hate me. Then the unexplainable, Cadel gets a podium, like wow. Cadel proved today that he was the best TT out there, he just wasnt in form. No More Questions.

NOTE: I know i f*cked up with the helmet.

Spilak23
Too bad Cadel's form wan't good enough. Surprising win for Haussler though.

NOTE: I know i f*cked up with the helmet.

Another (minor) thing, your riders wear socks of Rapha Condor.

rorzcp
awww shiiiiit.

well this isnt what everything is going to be like, i just threw everything together because the jersey maker is taking ages.

FuglsangxTH3
Bad result but it is just the 1st race so time to make good

rorzcp
I tried to start the Australian Championship Roadrace but the game crashed and for some reason simmed the whole race, so here are the results. I should have the TdU up later today Smile

1. Cadel Evans Team Apple - Steve 4h28'49
2. Simon Gerrans Sky ProCycling +27''
3. Heinrich Haussler Team Garmin-Cervelo +49''
...
14. Matt Goss Team Apple - Steve +4'08''
...
38. Luke Durbridge Team Apple - Steve +5'49''

Word from the Manager: Today, Cadel rode magnificently with his form being a bit better from his TT. I missed the latter of the stage today but to my understanding Cadel had a lone attack on the hill which is amazing on his part.
Cadel is shaping up his season to be a very good one.
Good win Cadel!
