Because of the sponsor. FROM=Fondo de Regulación y Organización del Mercado de los Productos de la Pesca y Cultivos Marinos (The Regulation and Organization Fund for the Fish and Marine Cultures Market). The jersey was during the strongest moment of their campaing against the fishing of too small fishes.

That's truly brilliant.

D'oh I find all jerseys(except the chazal one) pertty cool.

I think this thread contains almost as many cool jerseys as ugly ones. The Mapei & Kelme jerseys are beautiful, Tonton Tapis is cool as well. I like jerseys that stand out from the rest. Nowadays the peloton is mostly incredibly dull.
The Castorama outfit is genuinely ugly though.
This should be considered as well:

Some people have no taste at all here
How can classic beauties such as Mapei, Domina Vacanze and Kelme be rated as ugly??? |

Because taste is subjective and the classic component does not automatically translate into beauty? Having no taste =/= Not having your taste. To put it in terms you like: you fail
I personally find the Mapei and Kelme shirts to be very uneasy to look at.

I'd still take Domina Vacanze's zebra-style over the generalized dullness of today's jerseys.
And Mapei's and Kelme's are awesome. AWESOME.

From experience I can tell you it definitely doesn't look like a Mapei jersey

Sorry, but I disagree. I like the black and blue colors. From the current jersey, I'd say the Saxo Bank, with the eagle, or the OLO, which looks like it has been washed too often. from the old ones, the Castorama and the Mapei (well, and almost all the 80's jerseys )

I personally dislike the Landbouwkrediet jersey.. it looks very crowded + has been used for too many seasons by now
I love the sleekness of Wonderful Pistachios and Sky. |
