Greipel get's me some more points. Not complaining. A second place is good, but wishing that he won.
Valverde is dope.

I'm not disappointed by this stage. De Greef riding as well as I had hoped and lookin like a potential top 20 or 15. Tube shredding in the break again. Hopefully he will go in one more break this race and place himself well in the KOM competition.

Ah bullocks...
One minute on Valverde is probably to much. GC win is probably just mirage now.
As to Sammy, he's won the round 1 of the battle of the Sánchez, but 2nd place is still pretty open for Luis-le. Anyway, congrats Levi. Your man made the move, he deserved the win.

Outstanding report SN And perhaps Costa can compete for a top 10, but it's going to be close. And congrats to S Sanchez for beating Valverde.

It is a really tough startlist and the favourites really made that a tough stage. Still two more difficult stages left and with the top two close on GC difficult to see any scraps for the rest of us. A real classic of a stage though, lots of movement in the riders including the crazy attacks from Roy.
Four big Spanish riders in the top 5, a very measured ride by Valverde perhaps he has saved something for the last two stages.

First Van Den Broeck and now it's Roche who completely screws up.... I guess I must be rather satisfied with Castaños second place in Tachira if this is going to continue!
Nice win by Sammy Sanchez, not often Valverde gets beaten in a sprint.

Was probably the result I must have expected with Hesjedal and Hermans. Still chances for top15. And Passeron in the break again.
But the thing I don`t understand is that Roche was behind on the climb and on the descent he overtook the whole group around Hesjedal?
Actually I hoped that Hesjedal can overtake some on the descents.
But my goal is still achievable. |

To hard profile for Di Maggio today. 5th place is still within reach though.

de la Fuente has to step up.. But against LLS and Valverde.. It's like Top 5 and Cobo may get a Top 10.. But I thought Cobo would be 3rd behind Valverde and LLS

Breaking news: Proximus - Trek doesn't employ anyone with that name. Wonders why Cal Giant manager wouldn't sell him one those of colombian climbers he wanted.

Serious Question: What's a colombian, and where do I get one?
