Good report - though I am glad I decided to skip this one.
The other ones will be just as hard, if not harder.

None of them are going to be easy I agree and I'm sure quite a few of the hilly classics are going to end with it all coming back together for a sprint. I've done my best (and probably failed) to try and avoid them.

Which reminds me - shouldn't Teklehaimanot have an Eritrean National Champion jersey?

Well, he was added to the DB after the national championships.

I am pleased with the opening race of the season for Red Bull. We showed ourselves and are delighted with the 10th place, our expectations were low for a race of this class over this type of terrian.
JL Augustyn managed to live with some pretty classy hill riders on his home terrian. It could have been even better if Pozzato and Rast had not made it up to that group!
In terms of the hilly races the opening salvos between Wiggle and their rivals have been fired. Congrats to Pozzato there, could be a crucial result towards individual rankings!
In terms of teams, what a disappointment for Cillit Bang, Ben Nasser and Bellis but no top 10!

Tiaan Kannemeyer did well to gain some points for the team. I didn't expect much from the race, but it's always nice to be on the scoresheet.
