I'll be done in a few hours i think.
I work in a nature consulting company. We raise new forests and create wetlands all over Denmark. I'm not a consultant though. I work with a lot of stuff. I do process optimization and other general task-streamlining in our company. And then also i'm responsible for our IT and all things tech. And a whole lot of other stuff... i wouldn't want to give my job a title

Euskal Bizikleta - Stage 1
it's the Euskal Bizikleta. We've brought Anton as captain for this race. Our sponsors expect us to win it, and it has no real mountains, so it's a bit of a chance with only hills and timetrials. However, i want Sanchez to race the Dauphine Libere this month and this race clashes with that.
Stage 1 is a bit of a bumpy ride, with a decent hill towards the end. Egoi Martinez has gone on the break today. With 67km to go the break has a good few minutes lead over the pack. In the peleton it's the same 2 teams who dominated the Giro who are working.
40km. We've got the breakaway in sight. Martinez is not having hte best of days today and isn't gonna try anything here.
20km, it's status quo in the peleton. Ruben Perez is having a really good day and he'll attempt to break away here. Anton is waiting for the two big teams to either send their captains, LL. Sanchez for Caisse and Gomez Marchante for Saunier Duval on the attack. Or to get closer to the top where he has a chance of keeping them at bay on the downhill on the other side.
4,8 to the top and Perezis up front with smaller groups scattered across. Gomez Marchante attacks, Anton counters!
Anton doesn't make it all the way and is giving chase with Rovira of Extremadura.
LL. Sanchez is in a small group close behind. Marchante isn't looking like he'll be caught right now!
Sure enough, Marchante holds on and the small group behind catches up to Anton and Rovira. Here is Ruben Perez in the 3rd group from the from, he'll burn a bit of energy to try and keep with the frontrunners.
Almost at the end of the downhill, and it's gonna be straight onto the line here! 2600m to go. Perez has almost bridged his gap to the group with Sanchez and Anton.
Marchante is gonna take this. But we're coming REALLY fast as we're into the sprint and it's downhill. Gaps will be very small.
Garzelli and Vicioso take care of 2nd and 3rd. We'll have to do better and take some time on Sanchez and Marchante as there is a TT in this race, which is not Antons strong side! Perez is very close by now due to a strong sprint.

Euskal Bizikleta - Stage 3
After yesterdays unfortunate events where the sports director, yours truly, got lost on the way to the starting area and ended up missing the stage, the situation is grim. We're 10th in the GC with lots of good timetrialists ahead of us.
64km, Martinez on the attack here. He's brought 4 companions with him. It's a long way home though.
As it turns out, Martinez fellow escapees were not all that interested in working together, and they attacked numerous times. Which means that the pack eventually reeled us back in. As soon as we're back with the pack other attacks follow though. Camano of Saunier Duval is storming forward on the left side.
We're onto the hill 30km from the finish. The breakaway has a decent lead, and Caisse are working to hold them at bay. They'll be alone on this one, Saunier Duval have a man out there.
10km to go. A few riders, including Sunier's Camano are still out there. We're coming onto the final climb. Anton is still fresh enough to do something here, we'll just await the right moment.
We waited for Caisse to slow down a little and then follow whatever shot forward. The man in yellow ended up being our target, Anton in hot pursuit! 5.2km to go.
Anton is joined by Garzelli as Gutierrez is setting a tough pace. Camano is still in front and it will be very close!
But despite Anton's best efforts they just ride away from him. He simply doesn't have the pace in him that these two have. Gonzalo is hauling the pack towards us, and doing a good job at that. You can just make out his wheel behind Anton.
And Camano manages to hold on to his Advantage. Had the stage been 20m longer he would not have won it. Well done to him!
Anton is outsprinted by a handful of fast men in the peleton. Winning this race now will be next to impossible. Our sponsors wont be happy!

Yup, that's what happened. It took me a while to realize what had happened, but i knew there was something dodgy about the profile of the days race. Then i realized it said stage 3 and i'd skipped 1. |

Euskal Bizikleta - Stage 4
An 11km timetrial is up today. With the riders in front of us in the GC, there's not much we can do. We'll hope for a miracle on the last stage, which is probably the toughest one, climbing wise.
As Anton crosses the 1st timecheck, he's in 6th place, which is suprisingly good for him! Allthough, all the TT aces are still coming behind him.
Danielson snaps up the provisional lead as Anton is placed 10th at the finish at this point. Decent ride by him!
But as the specialists cross the line Anton drops a spot every time. Gutierrez, unsurprisingly, sets a new fastest time at the 1st check.
And he finishes the job, 10 seconds faster than LL. Sanchez. In front of him tomorrow though is a tough day of defending his lead!

I like the challenge to be honest. It's a nice change from the so familiar 2007 where you knew all the ins and outs of every situation and exactly how to react to the different situations on the given difficulty setting. Here, i'm learning by doing, 08 seems to be much more "dynamic" in a sense. And i like it |
