Its funny. Sagan behaves like moron for one week of his career and he is already most hated person here and public enemy number 1 while riders like terpstra, cavendish and bouhani have almost fanclubs here .

Sad reality with current level of cycling discussions here...

Which week? The pinching he did to a podium girl in 2013 Ronde? (he also attaempted to the same that year in E3)
Or the thing what he did to Vantomme in this years GW?
I hoped Sagan would learn from his mistakes (i.e. not doing any childish, bad things) but it looks like he still hasn't learned.
And he fell in RVV because he rode too close to the barriers. He took risk and failed. He risked a good result for the win by doing that on Kwaremont, which I can only applaud. But when he fails after riding very close to the bearriers he has only himself to blame. And he only blamed himself, which is a good thing.
Every rider has his bad moments, for Sagan it's just a few in short succession so people talk about it. I think everyone still respects the rider Sagan, but the person Sagan got damaged here. I'd still take Sagan above Bouhanni or Terpstra though.

Resorting to childish behaviour instead of arguments now Avin? Must be tough on you
Well in al honesty, how can you not give max stars to Sagan and GVA?
But yeah, I get why people say it's less fun then it used to be. Admins allowed to much trolling from Arberg and a few others, now everyone thinks it's ok..

Trying to argue with you on normal basis is pointless, since you dont know what words like "objectivity" or "detached view" mean.
In this special case with your list, i dont see better way than i did to express my feelings about it. Listing Boonen and Degenkolb as only three star favourites for Roubaix17 would be a good joke, if you were joking. But you are not i suppose.
If you want to live in you bubble where all stages are hilly and Gaviria, Valverde or Boonen win everything, live there, i will laught at you from outside though.

Because Roubaix is a completely different race the the flemish classics and RvV. I thought everyone were aware of that. But I guess people think cobbled classics and goes Sagan and GVA must be the favourites then.
Its for heavyish diesels and I think Degenkolb and Boonen are better suited to that. I don't think anyone unleashing them on flat cobbled secteurs.

These are the odds for Roubaix (which basically is the collective wisdom, so spare me from the 'bookies are clueless anyways'-arguments that Im pretty sure you will come up with:
That corresponds pretty well with my table, I'd say. Only i relegate Sagan to a 2 star favourite instead of 3 star favourite because I've never seen him do that well in Roubaix. I can elevate him to a 3 star favourite if it makes you feel better and you can stop acting like a spoiled child tho!
Edit: And here's a link to the cyclingnews forum. You could sign up and mock everybody there as well who has Boonen and Degenkolb as the biggest favourites: https://forum.cyclingnews.com/viewtopi...;start=140Edited by Riis123 on 05-04-2017 12:46
