Amador is a beast descender so he might be able to make it up to Trofimov/Hesjedal although he'd probably be distanced on Aprica

Nothing wrong with being cocky, it's something that a rider like Porte lacks. But it's not tactics that's cost Aru, he just doesn't have it in his legs this time around

Whar before Mortirolo? Just joined in as the last Tinkoff rider was done and they began the climb.
Pretty predictable with Aru tho. Landa is a beast - a podium and a good Vuelta should be in the cards. So happy for Spain there. And Contador.. no words. Fucking legend |

To be fair to Aru and Astana - they tried today to win the Giro. No real gain to have Aru pacing Landa. As it happens I place Landa as small chance to win the stage and certainly they will have second on GC.
Aru been slipping for last week - he has battled hard and is a probably future winner. Big learning curve against stage race master Contador. Aru now showing great charector descending like his doppelganger Nibali.
