tbh, I think highlights would be senseless, because after 8 laps, there were only 3 left and after 3X laps, wer were only 2 guys left

Ok guys, here we go!
First off...jihardy and TMM, we didn't bothered to ask you guys, to re-watch the replay for australia, because there wasn't that much action. So I will present the fines here:
ryant: +5 Positions on the next Qualifiying for causing a collision
Paul23: +3 Positions in the next Qualifiying for repeatedly cutting the track
If anyone thinks, this is unfair, please tell me.
Now to the next topic...
https://www.mediaf...Sepang.rar
Here is the Link for the malaysian GP. The server is already updated. If you encounter bugs, tell me.
Now up to the 3rd topic...In Australia, most people didn't finish, and sgdanny already asked for giving everyone points. I don't wanted to give everyone points to reward finishing a race, but since no-one exept Team Lotus got points, I want to make an exception for the first 3 races. Is everyone fine with that?

Well, I obviously didn't make the Australian GP, and to be honest my private situations aren't improving at all at the moment.
I apologize for not showing up, but I can't get any satisfaction from gaming right now... Hope you understand.

Track seems to work fine, just ran some laps. Was runnig equivalent to a Top10 Quali time irl straight out the blocks with no set-up changes.
Only comments on the track are these. The chrono checks seem to be oddly placed (Sector 2 being 1:07ish out of 1:37ish lap... Sector1+3 avg about 15secs...). Also the fuel consumption is about 1/3'd of what it was in Melbourne. This might be correct, i don't know, just it was noticably very very different. Also my final complaint is that the kerbs don't seem as flat as they are irl but that's a really minor complaint and i'll just adjust my racing line to compensate)
On the points thing. I don't mind if you don't give everyone points. Honestly i doubt any of us are serious about the championship and doubt any of us could really challenge you over a season anyway. Just as long as any rankings do take into account your classified position to determine final order i'm happy taking zero points.
Perhaps you could give anyone who completes 50-75% race distance half points (this would give Valv some points from Oz)? Then over 75% is full points. Also possibly 25%-49% distance coud give 1/4 points(this wouldn't hand out points for Oz (but for Malaysia 14 laps would give you points)?

@ryant: next race is scheduled in 2 weeks(test race is next weeks saturday)
@fjhoekie: like jihardy said: Real life over PC. Don't worry. Even if we would surprisingly get 10 new drivers, I would reserve your cockpit for you.
That brings me to a problem I caused. You all know danny has problems with his wheel. He drives for McLaren. But because I thought he is out forever(sounded like that), I gave lucabdf his cockpit(he is jihardys real life friend)
I would suggest that either:
-danny gets a new cockpit
-or luca gets a new cockpit
I know, I know, we first need to "repair" dannys wheel, but since none of them has taken part yet, it's better to figure it out BEFORE they took some points for a team.

Ok, sounds good so far

I didn't checked that yet. The sectors normally should be like this:
TheManxMissile wrote: Also the fuel consumption is about 1/3'd of what it was in Melbourne. This might be correct, i don't know, just it was noticably very very different.
I also noticed that. I will check if it is just wrong in the Menu or if it is wrong in the game.
EDIT: just select fuel for 100 laps in the Menu and this will be 50 laps...it's just wrong shown in the Menu. so for the race around 220L should be ok.
TheManxMissile wrote:Also my final complaint is that the kerbs don't seem as flat as they are irl but that's a really minor complaint and i'll just adjust my racing line to compensate)
I can't change that. Sorry

I really like this idea. But I think 1/4 points are not that good, because 14,25 points looks shit I would suggest to give everyone half points from 25%-70%...Over that full points will be handed out.

Well looking at that map the Chrono's are correct, just that middle sector is really f*cking long.
I'd go with that points system. Would give a bit of incentive to perhaps take it easy for the opening portion of the race to guarantee yourself some points rather than just go nuts not expecting to finish or score.
Also some clarrification on whether we will have a formation lap or not would be nice. Kind of messed me up in Oz (which then messed up NTT and ryant through proxy) because i was epxecting one which didn't come.

Don't bother confusing yourself. Just worry about the points as they are, as none of us are going to finish anyway.
