Very nice performance by Phinney. Always knew he had something like this in him.
Didn't he do this in the Tour of Pologne as well?
TdP was a 1k solo. this was like 25k or something
Think it was definitely around 6/7km out
No it was a downhill arrow straight torwards the finishing line and he launched it before flamme rouge.
P.S Tommeke Abandoned.
edit: it was 2 kilometres out.

Rohan Dennis was asked what would constitute a good day here. He said, "Taking 24 seconds out of Wiggo. That would be perfect!" |

Esteban Chaves in his element now, dropping Danielson and co as the gradient climbs higher.
Edit #1: Attack by Janier Acevedo for Garmin Sharp.

And Acevedo is caught again. Chaves surely has this one in the bag. Sky is not really interested in the catch, and they're the ones leading. |

Dear Dombo,
why do you make me hate you so much?
I'd really want to like you, but I just can't if you do things like this.
Please reconsider your team choice and we can become friends again like last season.

Exactly. He needs to just leave. Now. That was just stupid.

Yates amazes me again. Sky must be sad to let that kind of young rocket away |

Adam Yates is kind of freaky the way he led Wiggins across the line about two seconds ahead of Rohan Dennis and Peter Stetina. The lad is so young and yet has been in some great form lately.
