What, where are we?
I swear I commented on L-B-L already here. Unfortunately not every classic can be great but the team can look behind on a very successful spring campaign.
Geniez with some great effort on stage 9, it wasn't meant to be yet. Maybe a breakaway in later stages will be successful? Not sure if guys like Roy are enough to get a breakaway/MT-stage win. Great atmosphere in that stage!
Bouhanni against some strong competition and a maybe surprising winner in Bennati. Sure Bouhanni has good chances (as IRL )

Wow! Huge jump in the story! What happened in Romandie? And the first 7 stages of the Giro?

*Shonak - Well, kom jersey will be hard to win, maybe Geniez will have to take that role.. Bouhanni is still looking for a stage win, (ingame) .. he will keep the fight.
*sutty & rogvi - Thanks.
*the_hoyle - I had to skip Romandie & the first 7 stages reports if i want to get over this season.
The breakaway reach the first climb with 6´38"gap.. it´s a strong group, A.Jeannesson GC 25th +16´38", C.Gautier(EUC) GC+33´07", J.Voigt(TFR) GC+ 31´45", A.Cardoso(GRS) GC+46´09", F.Kessiakoff(AST) GC+27´30" and T.Dumoulin(GIA) GC+33´06".. one of them will win today.
At the top they raised their gap to 8´24"..
84kms to go, their gap drops to 5´28".. peloton comes fast..
Close to the Int. Sprint, D.Pozzovivo(ALM) 3rd GC+ 7´20" punctures and will have to burn some energy to come back..
Ignoring all this, the breakaway starts the final climb.. only 31kms to go and with a stabilized gap at around 4´00", the peloton needs to react fast...
Thats what they do, all against all.. but no one can get away.... for now..
Things start to get seriously serious.... top10 guys start to form small groups, V.Nibali, R.Urán, C.Evans, P.Sagan, D.Ulissi and
C.Betancur are in front.. C.Froome leads this 2nd group... break still in front.. close.
Somewhere at the top, Kessiakoff attacked and droped his breakaway mates.. then was time to Nibali to drop all from his group and catches up with Kessiakoff downhill.. 15kms... 18" behind comes Gautier&Dumoulin...
and behind that duo rides Sagan, Voigt, Jeannesson(great effort), Cardoso and Urán..
Last km insight... Jeannesson attacked 2 or 3 times but couldn´t get away.. he´s tired now..
This is going to be interesting to watch... will Nibali let Kessiakoff win the stage? there are 20" seconds bonus for the winner..
Check it later..
Naaa.. ok i´ll show it..
Yf you thought Nibali would let his team mate win, you are right..
F.Kessiakoff wins.
With this great effort, Jeannesson jumps to 22th.. top20 gets closer..

Good comaderie from Nibali there. Solid effort from Jeannesson in the break, he's top 10 is a nice reward for the day-long work.

Nibali seems to be getting stronger and with that closer to Froome
Solid top 10 from Jeannesson on the stage, a place in the top 20 appears to be possible |

Froome just messed up this stage but he might feel bad, that doesn't mean that Nibbles is coming back |

Understand the reason to skip a bit. We all have a point of the season where we dont like playing, and want to get back to a part we enjoy more. Plus I think with PCM 14 closing in, being near the season end makes any future story decisions easier. If you are in the middle I find I lose motivation sometimes.
In terms of the Giro, you really aren't doing too bad. Look how close you are to riders like Hesjedal, Pelli, Basso etc.

Thank you all, really appreciate your support. Sorry for not posting everyday but time is becoming too short for that..
Glad to see you here Valverde .. nice that you understand why i skipped some reports.. Our best result last season was 20th overall but we want to improve that..
One of the main favourites for today´s stage win, B.Wiggins sets the provisional best time in 1h06´35".. but this time wouldn´t stay long at the top, probably a big surprise for many,
V.Kiryienka beats it by 15" seconds..
The fight for overall isn´t over, V.Nibali sets the best time in all checkpoints.. he´s only 1´30" away from the 1st place in GC.. best time for now, 1h06´04"..
Last man in the road, race leader C.Froome crosses the 3rd checkpoint with +50" .. isn´t looking good for him.. will he loose Pink today?
V.Nibali promises to fight until the end.. we might see him in pink after stage 13..
C.Froome crosses the finish line with +1´01" ..
C.Froome stays in pink but might have been his last stage with it.

Thanks the_hoyle .. it seems its happening, stage 14 will show if yes or not.
D.Rebellin(CCC), S.Paulinho(TCS), J.Vermonte(OPQ), J.Hoogerland(AND),
S.Pirazzi(BAR) and A.Roux form the break today.. 1st Int.Sprint, they have 6´09"gap but starting to decrease..
81kms.. Orica, Cannondale and Giant Shimano are the ones who make the pace in peloton.. 5´01"gap..
Fight for the kom points..
S.Pirazzi wins this 1st kom sprint.. 3´28"gap to peloton..
Moment of the stage.. after the 2nd climb, peloton splitts in two with (exception of J.Roy) all our riders staying in the 2nd group..
We start immediatly to push hard behind... only 30kms to reel more then 5´00" min. some top20 riders stayed here too.. I.Basso 14th, T.De Gendt 13th, V.Kiryienka 15th, R.Majka 16th, R.Kiserlovski 17th, R.Hesjedal 18th,
F.Pellirotti 20th and B.Wiggins 19th..
Only 10kms for the breakaway.. 1´30"gap..
Final sprint starts for the break.. A.Roux hasn´t much more energy to fight for stage win..
J.Hoogerland wins..
2 seconds were enought to loose contact with the front at the 2nd climb.. 2 seconds where i was countering with Roux in the break..

Thank you sutty & rogvi . Appreciate your support, without it, this would be dead now.
With team SKY controlling the race, we had to wait until 2nd climb to attack.. A.Jeannesson and F.Pellizotti will ride away at the first "1 Category" climb..
SKY on a high pursuit quest..
With Jeannesson & Pellizotti still in front, peloton reaches the final 10kms with V.Nibali launching an attack..
S.Morabito works hard to bring his captain back to the front.. we have only a -2 A.Geniez..
With the 1km mark insight, A.Jeannesson is caught by the rest... F.Pellizotti still at the front..
1,6kms to go, Nibali catches up with Pellizotti.. Froome follows Urán..
Italian final sprint fight..
V.Nibali wins the stage and...
