Bakelants does indeed look very... good in the mountains.
And Riblon, wtf!

This is probably the best Tour i have ever seen (mountain-wise, at least). I know that there wasnt any doubt who the winner would be, but all the mountain stages - apart from that yesterday - have been fantastic.
What a race. Good performance by Mollema today, nice race by him. Movistar, though, has to be be the big winner along with Quick Step and Sky |

Also Quintana proved to be better that Froome. If not for 1st week were Quintana was used in stupid strategy by Movistar would have been closer. |

Holy shit Bardet
IIRC he lost 10 minutes or so on the same stage as Valverde. Bummer (not that he'd have top 10'ed otherwise anyway).
Yeah he lost that amount then. I really have high hopes for him and hope that he is clean.

What I've been wondering recently is whether Valverde will go to the Giro

Is he going this year? Could be close between him Valverde and Nibali.

Porte comes in smiling and fresh.
Talansky comes in with his face beat red and basically crying. I'm going to do a face comparison.
What a ride by Talansky. He continues to show great recovery. All he has to do for the future is go to races that Quintana is not at, and he will be a prolific winner.

Oh yeah apart from the performances of Froome and, to a lesser extent, Porte, the mountain stages have been aggressive and exciting. Also a truly unpredictable top 10. It is rare these days to get to the final MTF and not have some idea of what the podium will look like.

He's supposed to. But probably not enough time to recover till then.

Yes Purito, Valverde and Nibali. Also Porte, but Porte might find steep slopes and acceleration of these guys a bit too much. |

Henao is leading for Sky, not Porte.

Great Tour, except for Froome being too strong. But otherwise, great tour.

Old habits die hard. He's been losing to Quintana since Tour de l'Avenir in 2010. |

Indeed, even though that I was pretty sure that Rodriguez would get 3rd after Alpe d' Huez.
Great Tour, loved it through the entire race (apart from that echelon-stage.. but looking in the mirror, 4th or 8th doesnt matter that much) |
