Probably because they are 1. just out and so needs some people to work extra for the next-gen console and 2. it's easier to program for PS4. I mean MotoGP 15 is also only for PS4 at the next-gen. And as Cyanide isn't big they need to make decisions.

It perfectly showed your next races with those small profile pictures.
Here it`s only the next race plus pbjective.
+1
I fell in love with that tiny profiles on the first sight.
Yeah, those were great. Probably the best part of the PCM career mode interface, and similar to that of Football Manager as well in a way.
Its nice that the equipment is actually real equipment companies too, or atleast they are obviously real ones, just spelt wrong due to licensing. Frameballe = cannondale I think

Oh yeah, that was very obvious
I don't really care about the names though, I like the idea, and DBs can correct the names

I cannot and will not believe they removed it until I have seen it with my own eyes.
How can we simulate a whole months, if there is no calendar? I think I have to wait before I buy this game, because fast simulation is one of the things I do most in this game. |

A calendar (with the races coming up) comes up when you leave the cursor on the arrow on the top right on the screen

Why the hell would they change the calendar thing? They only change the good things it seems. Maybe it will be like the PCM 12 gradient colors where they patch it although I highly doubt they would change something that big. And it's horrible.

I think judging the interface already is pointless. It's different, so will take bit of using too, but I think too early to call it.
Could be much better than previous one, and from what I heard from beta testers - it is much improved.

1. Remove stats that doesn't make any difference like Fighter and Downhill.
2. Make carrer mode better.
3. Stop trying to make better graphics. |

Maybe not Very important, but olympics and u23 calendar (playeable, o como se diga, que se pueda jugar) aré somethings id like to see in this game... Also co-sponsors dont know if that has already been said, and of course, less stupid AI riders...

Aye, better AI would be really great, and a big step over the past versions. But I doubt they made it better... |

Nope. Great downhill will not help win the Tour for Nibali against Froome, importnace of that stat is very limited...
Figher is not functional for human player, only for AI and even there it does not do much. For reference, see man-game section and how Ignatiev with maximum 85FTR stat is doing against similar punchers with 70-75 fighter stat. It is worth nothing when they are 1-2 points better in hill...also those "green moments" are more sort of urban legend than regular fact.
These stats have maybe 1/10 of the importance of main (MOU, HILL, TT, COBB, SPR, ACC) stats.

@Avin - FTR has a big impact in Quick Simulation for the human player. DH is only a fairly minor thing, but then so are all support stats (RES, REC, STA, DH + FTR)

I tend to agree, except that REC has become much more important in PCM 13. You'll really feel a difference playing with 70 REC or 80 REC in the 3rd week of the Tour. |

I am not sure how you can know that it is FTR stat what has difference in quick simulation, because all you get are final results and how AI came to them is a mystery, it can be combination of all stats, or random throw of the dice, given how ridicolous they tend to be. But i agree it has at least some function there, but hardly you can say first ten riders are ten with biggest fighter stats...
