So if Sagan, was bad, why we're they working? |

Sounds like an exciting race, though I missed it. Will try to catch a replay.
Strange to see Sagan fail after his classics superiority, and him winning Brabantse. Congrats to Kreuziger though, a big win for him. |

Didn't some Czech dude win the Tour de Suisse and Romandie a few years ago? How was his name?
Well, it's hard to compare it, but in my opinion this win is the greatest result of all Roman's win, a win in one of Ardennes classics, that's amazing. It's in my opinion bigger win than his wins in TdS and TdR and his stage win in Giro as well, but that were huge results indeed as well.
Same with Hruska's wins in Giro and Svorada's wins in all 3 GTs, you can't unfortunetely compare results of Czech cyclists in Peace Race and another races pre-1989..
But who cares in the end.. what a result..
i agree, this is the biggest day of czech cyling, even more since there were lots of people saying Kreuziger did his best in his early years and now he is only domestique (you certainly met this attitude in czech press and talks).
I have to say i was also starting to loose big confidence in him. Now this was great, nice job Roman, Saxo looks like a good move, Riijs always squeeze it from riders.

I don't hink this is bigger than Suisse, but to each his own I guess. Either way, I think it's pretty clear that Kreuziger has turned out to be more a hilly classics specialist than a stage racer, specially now that he sucks in TTs. So, domestique (or stage hunter) in GTs and leader in this kind of races is ok for him me thinks.

Think how important these WT points are for Saxo , knowing that Conta doesn't score this year and after Breschel failed again in Flandres .

This is probably true. From beating Gilbert wednesday to not even being in the 2nd or 3rd group today is almost impossible.

Sporza says Gilbert 4th, Meersman 5th, Wegmann 10th.

It's clearly Kwiatkowski and not Meersman

Indeed that's what Riis said when he signed Kreuziger: That he was signed to be team leader in the classics and occasional week long stage race and that "he needs to stop this silly idea that he's a man for GTs"

Yeah, my info is wrong 'cause there's no one from Sky in the top 10 there. |
