A new record has been set for fastest time ever over 100km...by someone over 100. Yep, Frenchman Robert Marchand rode 100km in only 4:17...insane. Anyway, best part of it was this quote:
"I rode a bike for 52 years, it is not new today. I started cycling at age 14, there was the war, and after I have been abroad.”

Swifty's the unlucky guy in Sky this year. After his crash before Giro, now he fracturated his verterbrae in Franco-Belge crash and will have an operation as well on shoulder.
Looking forward to see Offredo racing again next year. He's already reconning Ronde
In sporting value, it's Lotto, Saxo Bank, FDJ and Euskaltel behind them atm.
Saxo will be safe with their transfers, relegating VDB and Greipel would be a surprise, Euskaltel should get some more points as well, so FDJ seems the most probable team solely based on this factor.

Stage 19 and 20 looks epic. Not many sprinter stages. Still, with a flat opening stage, I guess some of the good sprinters wants to race to be able to take the maglia rosa.
