A brave attack by Stetina was good to see, well deserved 6th placing there. Hopefully the rest of the team are inspired to do just as well in Turkey!

Sometimes you just feels sorry for those boys in the breakaway, riding in a hard Turkey sun all day, and it comes to nothing.

Unfortunately Race Leader Sutton was caught up in a touch of wheels with Mate/Cofidis and as a result both riders have had to abandon the race although Sutton was put in the ambulance and it was later diagnosed he had a fractured skull
