I don't understand. On the 12th of September you said we had to wait a few days for a post-vuelta update, then it was always ASAP and now we're the 21st of October and we still have to wait five weeks. What happened and why is it so hard to release just the updated stats? |

Can't say too much. haasje was busy and we were only able to work on the stats. Also, 5 weeks is the estimated release date for the v2. The v1.5 if it will be releaes will take a day if everyboday will work on it. Last, sorry for creating expectations on the release date.

The problem has always been the lack of a definite date for the new stats. As Martijn VDD said above, it was just a few days originally after the Vuelta, then this was prosponed to after the WC which made sense as this gave us the most up to date stats for both hill and TT. Which means that these stats were finished ages ago, so I don't see the reason why it has taken so long between the WC and now to relase these stats?
... and we're now being told another 5 weeks which is towards the end of Nov almost Dec.

Hopefully the delay on this one wont cause any problems on the new season update, but for some reason i got a strange feeling it will... (You guys should get a crying smiley)

I don't see any reason not to just release the stat update now and then in the big DB update include some further stat tweaks. I'm guessing all the stat changes from WC are already done and all what is left is tweaking the minor riders and teams.

X2 as the post Vuelta stats were done a looooooong time ago and the post WC stats were done some time ago as well. |

Currently, only a few DB team members are able to work on the update, so it's not going that fast.
Matt has been a bit too enthousiastic, since he's the newest member of the team. We never got things concrete on the V1.5 update, but apparently there has been a misunderstanding at Matt's side. I, sadly, haven't been on the forum much lately, so I haven't seen these announcements until now.
To prevent this to happen in the future, these are the future projects for the DB team:
- V2.0 for the Expansion Pack with a post-WC stat update, new graphics and new stages
- 2015DB
We can't give you any estimations of release dates, like Matt did a few posts up. It's just too early and we've got a lot less members working on the project than on V1.0.
This also means that V2.0 for PCM2013 is officially cancelled. We just don't have enough time to do both major updates and get the 2015DB done in time.

Self Explanatory I think. Stats updated till posts Vuelta

1. Open the file with Winrar or similar.
2. Go to: Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2014\Mod\Database folder and place the file inside the folder.
3. Now you will be able to can pick the Stats Update in the Options -> Database tab.
Note: You must already have PCM.daily's 2014 DB V1 installed.
* There will be one more stats update coming I think, before the 2015 DB. I am in process of going through each WT and PCT stats, just looking in more detail. Won't be any big changes for sure, but tiny ones will be present for sure. *

I've got one more announcement for you guys.
Tonight or tomorrow the Variant DLC will be released. It'll contain almost 500 new stages for the existing races in the Expansion Pack.

As I'm on holiday I stll haven't downloaded the new PCM update. It's saying that it's post-Vuelta, but on other pages I've seen it says that it's post-Worlds, which is it? |

Have just downloaded the Expansion pack V.1 and 1.2 and have selected the Single race expansion pack to use (as I don't do career) and this has all the 2014 national champs which is what I want. Now when I downloaded the Vuelta post stats update, the national champions are not the same and are the old national champs from 2013 eg Cave stll British champ instead of Kennaugh. Is this a fault or have I installed incorrectly or do I have to manually correct all the national champs myself for 2014?

I suppose they preferred the 2013 NC for the post vuelta update, did they use the 2014 NC in the expansion v2 at all? If none upload one with the 2014 you would have to do it yourself.
