Phinney rode a very fine Tour of California so far, I remember his little stunt with Boonen on stage 1. Great riding by him today. Ugh, what a day for BMC...

Turned out not to be so bad, pulled it straight from the tracker.

Great win for Phinney!
I was actually thinking about betting on him for the hell of it with the odds but my common sense got the better of me... well crap.

Very nice performance by Phinney. Always knew he had something like this in him.

Didn't he do this in the Tour of Pologne as well?

In a couple years, Phinney will be a Tony Martin who can cobble. |

Beating Sagan with Sagan style attack is impressive.

Wouldn't it be easier to write that he will be a Cancellara? |

A good strategy to force Sky spending resources early so that Wiggo is alone again when the climb starts.

Nah. I don't think he will be anywhere close to Spartacus on the cobbles. Top 10 P-R? Sure. Ronde Roubaix double? No way. |
