With the pace I completed the Giro, you don't think I'm able to write that little thingy in some minutes? (I did make the screenshots earlier though, Valverde was still in the team back then but I cut him out #SuperProfessionalPhotoshopArtistry)
By the way, if you ever want some people playing a race bikex, I'll be up for some nice U25 action or some Conti races, where my team isn't part of.

Cummings was so close .
Not a bad start all things considered but Cav disappointed a bit and Dennis was an absolute disaster so let's hope for better hey.

Gavazzi winning first two stages of Algarve! Guardini doing pretty well with a 3rd and a 2nd but statistically he must be faster than Gavazzi?

Gavazzi got a very good leadout by his team twice, Guardini was pretty much all by himself.
Maybe you have noticed, I've added a screenshot at the end of the spoiler, that's always the days break. |

Roger Troyer in Mallorca
Happy with the prologue in Australia, Dibben with a great ride for the Dev Team as well (I forgot they were even there ).
This is fantastic stuff Bikex, I have to say. It shouldn't be exciting but somehow it is . The breakaway picture could do with a list of who is actually in there though.

Gavazzi wtf!!! He's not bad but that is seriously above where I'd expect to see him. And it's due to a leadout? By who, the team only has one sprinter! PCM logic ftw

Great to have some teams interested in having HQ posts.
Interesting that you want to focus on Botswana and Westafrica The Rider, also cool that your minor focus lays on the UK and also the UK. |

- Cleared up now.
- I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all that scouting money I spent will eventually yield some quality riders from French speaking African countries. |

And The TT was fairly descent too , looking very good and very realistic so far and can't wait to see the results for the coming races

How onstage 3 of Mallorca did Eddy Boss and JJ Rojas finish so high up. Disappointed with the performances of Velits and Pellizotti. However I am very surprised with how Cardoso managed to perform. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 5th in the GC as well as 2nd in Points. Very good from him and I hope he keeps up the great performances.

Okay, since now all planners should be in (at least i hope so), I can finally publish my Depth Ranking.
Before I start I want to thank Stromeon for his MG CT Analysis as this is where i got the inspiration from.
First of all, some explanations:
-Every "Terrain Depth Ranking" is influenced by the main stats (MO,HI,TT,CB,SP) of the 8 best riders on this terrain. Secondary stats don't have any influence on this. The main stat of the best rider is much more important than the main stat of the 8th best rider.
-The Total Depth Ranking is decided by the different Terrain Depths with the best one more important than the weakest one.
-The CT teams are on another Total Depth Ranking formula as they can completely skip some terrains. Thus, only the 3 best terrains count for them with the best one counting as 50% of the whole value.
-Dev Teams don't have any influence on any of the following tables.
Before looking at the real depth rankings, we take a look at two other statistics that show how the different teams have decided on their riders:
Mainly, there are two main strategies: Going for a talented team that will contest strongly in a few years but may struggle in the first year or trying to be as successful now but fearing relegation in a few years.
Celesio has really overdone it with their youth focus. Looking at their average age they could as well be a development team and it will be hard for them to avoid relegation in year 1.
Interesting is also that WT and CT teams are very equally mixed with the 4 youngest and the 3 oldest squads being WT teams.
But this isn't enough to really rate the talent focus of a team as some teams have a few very old riders that really pushes the average. One example for that would be Avia's Garneau who pushes his team into the second half of this ranking.
Another factor on the transfermarket is the nation focus. Some team managers like sgdanny from Jysk Cycling paid attention to not allow foreigners into their team while some others like PetroChina or Bluebell Creameries did not looked at the rider's birth country.
For those teams with a low foreigners rate like Jysk or Societe Generale this is a good proof about their transfer policy but you have to look closer at the other teams to rate whether they followed a regional approve or not. Again Avia is a good example with a nice Eastern Europe focus despite of having a higher Foreigner Rate than the Fellowship of the Hobbit.
But now, let's move forward to the Rankings:
Unsurprisingly, a spanish team is the most mountain focussed squad in the new cycling league. Liberty Seguros are surely one of the teams to watch in the GTs. Their short-time team member Alejandro Valverde is part of the Avia team and helped his new team to climb on the second position in this ranking. Their main rivals will propably be Gazprom's Froome, Air France's Quintana and Shell's Nibali.
Some other WT like Celesio and Bunzl will only go for stage wins due to sprints or breakaways in the GTs as they completely lack climbers.
Also, worth noticing that the Bulgarian team with their overprized leaders and Portuguese LA Aluminios and Vegeta have climbing depths that are equally strong as of most WT teams and far better than the pure sprinting WT teams.
Liberty Seguros do not only have the best mountain squad but they also have the biggest favourite for the Ardennes classics: Purito.
Behind them, there are tons of teams that are capable of competing on the highest level. All the top mountains teams are here as well and also teams like ProRace with Gilbert, CarbonSports with Henao and Sagan or ANZ with Simon Gerrans have high hopes to be the top point scorers on this terrain.
Some Top-class puncheurs went down to CT division and world champion Rui Costa of the strong portuguesian team LA Aluminios is propably the biggest name to mention. Also in the CT division is Dan Martin from SmartOne but he has much lower rated support team.
The best rated TTT team is the team of Olympic Champion Bradley Wiggins: ProRace Cycling. Also very good are Bunzl-Centrica who can call themselves lucky that the start ramp goes slightly downhill and not uphill and Liberty Seguros who already won the first TTT of the season.
CT squad Nike Cannondale can really compete with the best WT teams - at least if Spartacus himself participates.
The best TTist is Tony Martin of Celesio but he should not be wasted in TTTs as even he cannot help his team to be able to compete - as seen in Toowoomba.
Some WT teams completely got rid of all TT skills and only the Rohan Horsemen from Indonesia are worse than Societe Generale.
The best cobbled squad is UPS cycling which want to control the cobbled classics to get Tom Boonen into a sprint finish. The same can be said about CarbonSports and their leader Peter Sagan. Worth watching are also ProRace who start with a great depth but only with bargain Chavanel as leader, Shell with Terpstra and Langeveld and Avia with Czech Stybar. It will be interesting how the week support squads of Cancellara (PetroChina) and Cancellara from CT Team Nike will change the race dynamics.
Some CT teams completely got rid of any slightliest cobbled experiences: Ecopetrol, LA Aluminios, Ameriabank, the Ringwraiths, Vegeta and of course also Lunar Industries - Umbrella Corporation presented by Rihanna and some strange, anonymous and rich Communications Group that has to come from some obscure Arabian country as seen from their paid Wages and supported by Hill Valley, Mountain Regions, TT Bikes and New Cool Sprint Helmets Varsity Professional Continental Professional International Tricycling Team.
So we have looked at everything bar the sprint depths. Now it is time to do so:
Sprint Team #1 is CarbonSports with Kittel and Sagan who both already performed great in this season. They are there despite of losing Andre Greipel in the Biggest Transfer off the transfer period to PetroChina.
The next best team is Allianz who have a great depth but lack the super sprinter. ANZ has a similar approach.
The other top sprinters are at Bunzl (Cav), Degenkolb (celesio) and Societe Generale (Demare).
Some teams don't chased any sprinters in the off season. Belong them are the climbers from Liberty Seguros and the Indonesian Dwarfs.
Taking all these terrains together we can get a good picture of what to expect for the final rankings:
My WT predictions:
1. ProRace , allround team with special focus to Classics.
2. CarbonSports , impressive sprint and classic team with great overall depth.
3. Liberty Seguros, the climbing kings
4. Avia - Orlen Oil, very allround team without the best sprinter
5. Team Shell, good squad with future and the possibility to surprise and Muhammed Muhammed to conquer the world
6. Gazprom, the team with Leaders and a lot of rubbish
7. Air France, the climbing prospects
8. ANZ, because experience is more worth than TT skills
9. Fiat, fighting for the home town glory
10. UPS, Grandpa's can cycle, too
11. Allianz, young sprinters are the core for a successful future
12. Spanair, Climbing Experience should pay off
13. Bunzl, Cav and the young guns
14. Societe General, french power
One goal: Avoid relegation
15. Filliers: The second Belgian team
16. Bluebell Creameries, Old bags for one day races.
17. PetroChina, Stars don't want to relegate
18. Celesio, but better days will come.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
