Thanks, can't say I do much to them though, just use PdN to crop them and change them to jpeg.

Amgen Tour of California
May 17th, 2013
Bakersfield (ITT): 30 kms - Flat

Stage five is a 30km long ITT that starts on a descent to get riders up to speed quickly, then flattens out and finishes coming back up to the start. The GC should see some shaping up as contenders forced to give it their all.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/51.jpg

Richie Porte (Sky) sets the best mark early after a series of riders put up good times starting with Bookwalter, and Lawson Craddock (Bontrager). His time would hold until some of the favorites got onto the course.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/52.jpg

David Zabriskie (Garmin), the American Champion, would set a new best time and hold for a good while before dropping down. But he holds on to third for the stage.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/53.jpg

One of the times to beak Zabriskie would be Vasil Kiryienka (Sky) who would set a blazing time and go on to win the stage. He would also move up significantly in the GC currently in 7th.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/57.jpg

Overall favorite Tejay Van Garderen finished with a solid time and grabbed 5th on the stage, moving into 3rd overall, and is in good position to take the lead on the climbs.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/54.jpg

Race favorite Taylor Phinney only slightly disappointed, a heavy favorite to take the stage, he would finish 2nd, 22" behind Kiryienka and regain the lead in the overall classification, points classification and best young rider classification.

... not sure intense is the right word... did some complicated stuff earlier that makes what I do now easy... I guess that's intense?

Giro d'Italia
May 17th, 2013
Longarone – Trevise: 125.9 kms - Flat

Stage 12 gives the sprinters a chance again as the course turns flat. There are a few bumps in the road along the way, but nothing that should cause much trouble. A hairpin turn on the lead in is something the teams will have to be ready for as the sprinters make their moves.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/121.jpg

The breakaway would see one of the sprinters, as Daniel Oss gets into the move able to collect on the two intermediate sprint points. Other riders in the breakaway include Koldo Fernandez (Garmin), Adam Hansen (Lotto), Danilo Di Luca (Vini), Michal Kwiatkowski (OPQS) and Riccardo Chiarini (Androni).
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/122.jpg

It would all work out perfectly for Oss as the breakaway stays away and he is able to sprint to a win ahead of Di Luca and Chiarini after defending an attack from Adam Hansen. The field wouldn't show up for another three minutes, but their sprint too was exciting.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/123.jpg

As Leigh Howard leds the field around and setting up teammate Matt Goss, he falls in the hairpin turn. Goss wouldn't be able to get out of the way and also goes down as the peloton is now in trouble with the very front laying on the ground.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/124.jpg

Several other riders, including sprinters, Roberto Farrari (Lampre) and Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) also fall along with some GC riders, Robert Gesink (Blano) and Tom Danielson (Garmin) wouldn't be able to avoid the riders already on the ground as the race ground to a halt with riders trying to get by.

Probably looking at a around 2AM (11AM US Central), (5PM London).

Yea, could keep him out of the top 10 though if he got an injury from it, he has been looking decent so far.

Next two stages will be the challenge for TP, hills then mountains. I think he might survive the hills, but the mountains could be tough, and I'm not sure I can get Tejay past LL Sanchez, he has been great so far this season.

Do like my position a lot in the Giro right now, and Nerz looks like he is back to normal which gives me another climber to help out Evans. The MITT will be critical in about a week.

Not sure I would say he has to win something soon, he already has a wins at Le Samyn and Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen. He's off to a great season as is.
