Here you go, roturn:
I quickly looked it up, he started with 75 in sprint, don't know if that's too much. And then came random potential But I like that, it would be boring if all stories had the same rider development.
€: Oh:
EB: Flat
BE: Mountain
HÜG: Hill
KSP: Cobble
BES: Acceleration

Thanks for the fast response.
Indeed a great sprinter. Never played with random potential, but it makes your story more unique. |

96 kg, That must be the heaviest rider in the peloton
Great reports, and a good podium from Ponzi in Scheldeprijs |

April 9, 2012 – Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco
The break today consisted of 13 riders including the likes of Christophe Kern (Europcar) and Leopard's luxury domestique Igor Anton. All of them are at least 10 minutes back in the GC and the pack didn't do much to bring them back. They entered the last 6 steep kms with 2'25 of advance. Igor Anton soon created a gap.
Meanwhile, GC leader Samuel Sanchez attacked very early with 8 kms to go. He created a small gap but the pack didn't seem to be willing to let him go. He maintained 30 seconds and one after another, he overtook the escapees. He kept a high, steady pace and the other favorites just couldn't catch up with him. In the last kilometer, he reached Igor Anton, who was later also outsprinted by the chasing favorites, and took a great stage win. He thus extends his GC lead, now in front of Joaquim Rodriguez.
Both Damiano Cunego and Peter Sagan had a terrible day. The Italian was Liquigas' best on place 20, he fell back to 10th overall. Sagan lost almost two minutes and sits in 12th position now.
Samuel Sanchez has now 38 seconds of advance and keeps being the top favorite.
1 | Samuel Sanchez | Euskaltel – Euskadi | 4h06'49 | 2 | Joaquim Rodriguez | Katusha Team | + 19 | 3 | Kevin Seeldraeyers | Quick·Step Cycling Team | + 32 |
No notable break could establish itself on this stage. The action began on the penultimate hill with Samuel Sanchez attacking. Peter Sagan followed but they didn't get away. Over the last hill, again Sanchez and Joaquim Rodriguez created a small gap but Damiano Cunego brought them back.
In the sprint, Samuel Sanchez went into the wind very early. In the last kilometer, Ryder Hesjedal moved to the front and it seemed like he could win. But despite his late attack, Joaquim Rodriguez came out of nowhere and took the win. Leopard's captain (yes, you read right! Both Schlecks and Anton are way back...) Maxime Monfort completes the podium. Peter Sagan was too exhausted and finished 6th. No changes in the overall.
Rodriguez sits in second position overall, he underlines his strength with this win.
1 | Joaquim Rodriguez | Katusha Team | 4h40'44 | 2 | Ryder Hesjedal | Team Garmin – Cervélo | s.t. | 3 | Maxime Monfort | Leopard – Trek | s.t. |
The 20 hilly kilometers of time trial would eventually decide the overall. Sébastien Rosseler (Quick·Step) set an early best time which lasted long but was eventually beaten by first Jens Voigt and then Alberto Contador, who might make up a bit for his horrible performance so far with a win today. Both T-Mobile riders Kim Kirchen and Tony Martin came close but couldn't beat him.
The first rider who could infact beat him was a big surprise: Peter Sagan gave everything to jump into the Top 10 again and was amazingly fast: He lowers Contador's time by 33 seconds! His team mate Cunego performes fantastic as well, coming in second so far, 14 seconds behind! At the end of the day, they move up to 7th and 8th overall respectively.
In the fight for the overall, Luis Leon Sanchez was the strongest of the contenders today, finishing second, 4 seconds behind Sagan. But as Samuel Sanchez was only 13 seconds slower, he remains in the overall lead. The podium would be completed by Alexandre Vinokourov who finished fifth today. Joaquim Rodriguez is the loser of the day, falling back from second to fourth.
Who would have thought that? The young riders jersey gave Peter Sagan wings!

Second win in a row for Euskaltel and Samuel Sanchez in the team's most important race! A very important win as well regarding the World Tour ranking where Euskaltel need every point they can get!
Our resume is quite ambivalent. On the one hand, we hoped for at least a Top 5 result overall. On the other hand, two men in the Top 10 plus the young riders jersey aren't bad at all. Then again, if it wasn't for stage 4, the podium would easily have been in reach. Still, a totally surprising stage win and further podium spots are way too much to be really disappointed.

April 10, 2012 – Paris - Roubaix
Preview
Together with the Ronde Van Vlaanderen, Paris – Roubaix is the second of two big cobblestone classics. Called „Hell of the North“, it's one of the most famous and prestigious race at all and the winner will write his name in the books of history. The best example is Roger de Vlaeminck, „Monsieur Paris-Roubaix“, who won the race four times in the 1970s. Also, Tom Boonen won the race for the fourth time last year.
As if 258 kilometers wouldn't be hard enough, the course from Compiègne to Roubaix is riddled with lots of hard cobblestone passages that will cause a high separation. From a sprint from a small group to a long solo ride to the win, everything is possible.

As last week at De Ronde, the complete elite of cobblers is present. With their strong duo leadership, Leopard will be the team to beat. Tom Boonen aims for his fifth win here but the likes of Haussler, Hushovd, Devolder or Pozzato also have a say.
We attend here with only six riders, but really important are simply two: Daniel Oss and Paolo Longo Borghini. Both are in very nice shape so we'll decide during the race who'll lead us. After Oss' decent performance last week, we now hope for a Top 20.

What can you say? Tom Boonen is simply amazing at Paris - Roubaix. With his fifth win, he is now the sole record winner at this prestigious race. After his win at Milan - San Remo and the second spot last week at De Ronde, this win concludes a terrific spring for the Belgian.
Again, we missed our goal of a Top 20, but looking at the riders who finished along Oss, I think he performed decently well. He has a lot of potential left and will definetely improve both his abilities and his results.

26th isn`t that bad imo. Same group than the 20th.
I already failed with much better cobblers in this race. |

@ roturn: Imo, cobblestone races are pretty much the hardest in PCM. I'm really not good at it, so I'm not disappointed^^ Plus, finishing in the same group as Alessandro Ballan is quite good
@ tsmoha: Thanks. I like the results as well. For both Ronde and P-R, they're very realistic. The only Top 10 result that you wouldn't have expected is Gaudin @ P-R.
@ andy222c: Wow, thanks a lot Always great to hear that people enjoy the story.
Next race will be a bit of compensation, result-wise And after that, there's a big announcement regarding the team's future...
