Gilbert gained all of 2 points on Cavendish today. Spent a lot more effort too.
Unless he seriously thinks he can get a good GC placing? He was pushing all the way to the line afterall

Fuck, when will the French win a stage...
When they start to work together, rather than against each other?
At least theyve got Yellow right now
Moncoutié's tactics were awful, but why should they work together if they're on different teams?
I agree, but...
1) Italians do it, so if the French race against the Italians, it's easy to guess who's going to win if the strengths are more or less equal...
2) Was relaying Hushovd the best thing to do for Moncoutié's interests ? We'll never know, but that seems very unlikely
I don't know if that's what Andy Schleck meant with Moncoutié being a retard, but I can't say I'm surprised by how he handled the situation today, sadly. |

looking at how much he paced in the final kms, it seems he did it for time and not for points.
and it makes no sense 'cause he will pay this effort tomorrow loosing much more time than the one he gained today... |

He was pushing til the very last meter, so that's certainly what it looked like. |

You're dumb enough to think that Moncoutie ruined Roy's chances? Good for you my friend.

1) I'm not a friend of national alliances. You ride for a team, and you must commit to that team.
2) Yeah, I said that his tactics were awful. He should have wheelsucked all they way to Lourdes, as he didn't stand a chance otherwise.

Its the way he charged all the way to the line that makes me wonder - he beat Mollemma for 10th by quite a lot, and had the look of someone looking for time
