Okay you are right. I haven't updated all of the links there. Still in the post right below are the rules that are apply and 25 is the minimum as stated repeatedly already. No reason to be uncooperative, especially as I have always tried to find a solution everybody could be happy with, when someone had problems with staying within budget like you do now.
@ivaneurope:
The total wage paid to all of the riders of a development team must be above 1000. |

Not trying to be uncooperative, I know from experience solutions can and will be found. It would probably be possible to sell one of my riders, however this would more than likely leave me with an uncompetative team, or losing 1 of my 2 top talents, which would be quite unfair in my opinion as mybassumptions based on the linked rules and given lists stating I needed no more extra riders seem more than reasonable to me.

Well, I have to withdraw my team then. All the signings were done for nothing

But then again, I'm pretty sure I have enough riders that are enough to meet the number and wage criteria. Check the database.

Wait, why? 1000 is the acceptable minimum AFAIK, you should be fine.
You'll just need two more main team riders from what I can see and you've got enough money to do that if you don't pay more than 280 for Groenewegen.

I voided your bid so you have enough budget to meet the team criteria for both your CT and U23 team, no need to overreact and quit the game.
I realize this is all partly my fault, I should've realized that with the new minimum wage, it is much harder to reach the 1000 wage for the U23 team with only 8 riders. Still I can't drop the border as also 1200 was added to all teams with dev teams, so there should be plenty of money for everyone to be able to fill their development team.
Next season the bonus will only be 1000 and the 1000 minimum requirement will be removed. |

You can easily get out of trouble here without giving up any top talent if you want. If you trade away 1 rider, you'll only need to make 180 budget space.
e.g. If someone takes Sosnitskiy for a fee of 50, you will make 210 (transfer plus rider wage), then leaving you 230 to buy the two remaining riders necessary to complete your WT team.
EDIT: I've got no problems with the dev team rules staying how they are now. You can easily reach the 1000 minimum requirement by signing 1-3 riders for more than their minimum wage, or by signing up 9/10 riders instead.

OK, I've tangled up - what's the minimum/maximum number of riders I need to have in my team + dev team?

@ivaneurope These are the two things that matter.
WT teams must have at least 25 riders, CT teams 18 and U23 development teams 8.
The total wage paid to all of the riders of a development team must be above 1000.
If you are planning to use 9 riders in your dev team, you need to sign a total of 27 riders. You currently have 25

Usually anything can be found here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1188170
You need at least 18 riders in your CT team and 8-10 in your development team and they should have at least 1000 in combined wage.

You are right, in theory it should be easy to fulfill those requirements. But it's also understandable that people are more focused on their main team and possibly miss keeping an eye on the U23 team requirements in the first transfer rounds. ivaneurope and fjhoekie are not the only ones who will have it hard to fill their development teams.
Either I have to keep track of all teams with dev teams in every round of transfers next season to avoid only noticing those things rather late in transfers or just remove the 1000 wage barrier and in return give a smaller bonus to dev teams. Strong U23 riders are also cheaper now considering their min wage drop. |

Now I get it - since I have 25 riders and had I signed Groenewegen on that fee it wouldn't be enough to fill the minimal quota of 18 A-team riders. This would mean that I had to reallocate one of the 9 U23 riders to the main roster, but then again the minimal total wage would be 900 - below the minimum and with my money drained out I wouldn't had anything to pay the fine. So that's why my offer was declared invalid.

The u23 squad can only have 8 riders with a minumum total wage of 1000.
So 6*100=600 + 2*200=400 = 1000

I thought it was the final number?
We need to wait for Bikex to confirm.

@ivaneurope Yes, you've got it right
8 is indeed the minimum amount of riders, but you can have more if you want.
Last year most teams had 8 riders, but Suntory had 9 and SSJ2Luigi's Podravka Development Team had 10 riders and that was allowed.
