Because its a mountain road and no drives up there?
Sorry but its a bit like asking why they havent fixed Carrefour de l'Arbre.
Well they knew it was going to be in the Tour and that should be reason enough to fix it. I'm not saying they had to re-do the whole road but they could have filled the pot holes atleast. |

No problem with Nibali attacking Froome. The other way mind the hypocrites would have been raging of course!
This is revenge for earlier stare when Nibbles threw water bottle!
He isn't really that far up road yet and of course Lotto and Saxo and eventually Movistar will help sky chase!

Greatest stage ever in the history of cycling if Nibali pulls out 8 minutes to take yellow.
What was the gap Landis had in 2006? |

Nibali to take 8 minutes and revive the Astana hate/doping thread. |

I think the real MVP today is Rolland. Nobody hasn't said a word about him but he's already ~45kms in front of the Yellow jersey at a constant 2min30sec. |

Nibali won't take more than 2 mins, saxo will chase him and the one and only chance will be gone QQ |

Rolland is just a top class rider. Hides all year long and has a few shots in the Tour. Today is much more impressive than yesterday, even if he doesnt win - he managed to stay 2 minutes away from the GC-guys, while all the others from the break, quality riders I should add, just dropped back...
I love Rolland, man. So stylistic and a mighy fine climber. |

I will say he is pretty damn close at this point tho. He rocketed up the Croix de Fer and was the best of the rest the other day at Pra Loup. Seemed like he just had some very, very bad days in the Pyrenees, especially the first one. |
