Nice work Jesleyh. It is strange to see me out of the Czech team, but i know it is because of balancing the leaders and stuff. No problem with Exxon, seems like a nice team and i am the cobbles leader, who can also help Manx nicely as his lead-out. We also have Doddy for hills and Aidan, the best MTB on Daily as our climber, hooray!

@Paul23
I can't remember, it's either NTTHRASH's or Hobbit's. I took it right from my fantasy db so you'd have to look there I guess.
Brewers just has the picture of his favourite Cadel Evans
@Mre @Jseadog1 @Baseballlover312
Yeah, I really can't take the communications on the site into account. My admin powers sadly enough aren't big enough to read everyone's PMs.
Nationalities are the most primary thing to use.
@Lachi
Hmm, it's not that easy. For instance, Code told me he wanted to be a pure climber. Also, post count should be taken into account somehow, members with a Top 10 in post count(Valverde iirc) should kinda be world-beaters, and f.e switching to Jseadog would mean he is a bit less than that.
Anyway I don't think I want to make the team balance effort only for the sake of ''communication between members'', especially since there's not even agreement about it

@Dave
Well, I guess you've been unlucky, but the fact that all your posts on Daily have been in this thread helps a bit I guess. Nevertheless, you probably have high potential and will get better.

Me neither
Your stats are quite good for someone with your post count though, you can definitely achieve some good results on PCT level, while you'd just be a (good) domestique on WT level.

Come on, Jesleyh has spent a lot of his time trying to create balanced teams. Don't complain about your stats or what team you are representing.

Awesome! Seems like I'll be the GC leader of Exxon! Nice am I'm in with Avin being a punchy sprinter and TMM should be right up there in all the sprints. I reckon I'll buy a PC upgrade and PCM14 just for this db!

Indeed. Oh Aidan, Avin is not a punchy sprinter, he's a cobbler with a sprint. Boonen, kinda
Also, I just found a very interesting statistic:

Oh btw guys, I'm considering using an installer for the release, but since I have very few experience with installers, I think I'll just let it be a manual install. I will provide instructions with it, obviously.
Would it be a problem for you guys?
Since I'm afraid I might mess things up if I do use an installer

Your database contains only the cdb file and it has to be installed into "my documents\pcm2014\mod\database\", right?
It should not be too hard to install it manually following instructions.
A while ago, I did the installer for Jacky Durands Sponsorkits, so I might be able to do an installer for this too. |

No, it contains jerseys, stages, logos and probably a few more things, too.

@Installer thing
Well, as it looks now, the DB will be a .rar file.
It'd obviously need to be extracted(but I think most people would figure that out )
Then there's 2 maps:
- A My Docs folder(which should be installed in My Docs/PCM 14) which contains the cdb and stages.
- A Program Files folder(which should be installed in the gamefolder) which contains the Gui and 3D maps, which include jerseys, logos etc.

As for the installer thing, you can also use the default windows installer creator, it's very easy to use

Well I don't want to annoy further, but if you're already going strong with it, the Tissot roster would be interesting now

Would the default windows installer find the correct installation folders on the computer of everbody, no matter if the game was installed through steam and no matter if 32bit or 64bit Windows is used? |
