Well what has Cavendish done this year to warrent higher SP stat than Kristoff, Greipel, Bouhanni, Degenkolb and Sagan ?
Froome and Cavendish has been very unlucky with crashes in years, but there is no doubt, that they are the best (in mountain and sprint), when they are in top condition. They have proven time and time again in recent years, that they are the best. That they are very unlucky with crashes in one year, does not make them weaker.

@Arberg
Actually it's completely the opposite
Froome has shown extraordinary performance only last year and this one Contador used to beat him every race they took part in.
And sadly for Cav he's getting old and he isn't the best sprinter both in the db and in real life |

Froome had won Vuelta 2011 and Tour 2012, if he did not have to wait for Wiggins
Cavendish is still better than Kristoff, Greipel, Bouhanni and Degenkolb both in the db and in real life

Man, you shoud base yourself on the results...
Cavrndish won 2 sprints at tour 2013 and Kittel 4.
Kittel is the best now because of his results. And cavendish is still the second best in the db.

Nothing, but Cavendish was the best sprinter until 2013. This year he was truly unlucky.

Yes, but Froome was the best climber until 2014. This year he was truly unlucky.
Speaking about the results, then Nibali the best results this year, won the TDF with the biggest difference since Armstrong and four stage wins.

Well he's won 11 stages this year and it's silly to try a penalize him because he crashed out of the Tour, do you really think any of the above sprinters would beat a fully fit Cavendish? |

Yes and Nibali had no competition at all Cycling is not only le Tour people.
Froome had only one year when he beat Conta and that was last year. In 2012 he was the best Climber at TdF, but it(Tour) had only two mountain top finishes and the only competition was a bit ageing Evans, also Nibali, VdB and Tejay, who're nowhere near Froome and Contador in climbing. And then at Vuelta he lost 10 minutes on Conta. In Vuelta 2011 Cobo was an equal climber but worse TT-ist and only tactics prevented SKY from taking the win. If you talk about best climber until : look at Contador results since 2007 to 2012. And then he does it again in 2014.
P.S You're either trolling all members(don't get too offended) or you're so biased that you better stop talking shit nobody agrees with(no hard feelings )

That's right, Nibali had no competition in the tour, because he was in his life best form, so fantastic that he drove from Cancellara on the cobbles and smashing Valverde with 10min
Contador wins Vuelta, only because Fromme was in bad shape in the first half of the race (due to many crashes and injuries) and lost more than 1min at TT.
Vuelta 2012? Rodriguez much stronger than Contador. Froome tired after the tour.

Contador should not even run the vuelta for that matter, after the fall of the tour, stop fanboying.

besides the discussion who is better in real life, i wouldnt really change anything in the mountain stats, they are pretty good and there are only some little things to update:
G.Caruso: MT:75
Valverde : MT:80 (also 75 rec)
D.Martin: Higher REC
Barguil: 77 MT (maybe even 78 wth low Supporting Stats)
S.Sanchez : REC
bouhanni: higher hill
Aru: 80 mountain
Stuyven: 75 Sprint
De Marchi: 74/75 mountain and higher fight stat |

75 sprint for Stuyven? Is that a spelling error or are you serious?

In my opinion, Stuyven deserves 73, maybe 74... But never 75 |

Uran 78?? Means he is just as good in ACC as Contador.
Think we should degrade him to respectable 74-75 |

Doesn't Cancellara sprint better than Stuyven when he tries to lead him out!
I think a lot of people overrate Uran (Mick Jagger) on here, I'd say he is max 79 mtn but has improved a lot in TT which is what actually makes him a GC podium contender.

Cavendish beated Sagan in both Tirreno,California and Suisse. Also Cav was 5th in MSR and Sagan was 10th in MSR
He also beated Degenkolb in California
He also beated Kristoff in Suisse but Kristoff beated him in MSR.

Even though Cav is my favourite sprinter Kittel is better than Cav this year.
And Schleck disagrees with you how a 1 year with crashes makes you weaker
