Your mom is overrated. Was very bad last night
Wow, good one... rly.... not... Whats with the dutch people and Gesink? is he holy? like India with the cows?
I think we are desperate for a stage win
last Giro stage win: Pieter Weening 2009
last Tour stage win: Pieter Weening 2005
last Vuelta stage win: Lars Boom 2009
So touchy =P I'm from Sweden. The best i get is Kessiakoff fighting for Polka without winning |

I'm Dutch and I don't like Gesink at all. I am more in favour of riders from other countries (Italy in particular) but in Holland (especially our cyclist commentators) are praising Gesink.

praising? Maybe those idiots ducrot and dijkstra. Every other press guy in the Netherlans has been burning down Gesink for everything of bad luck he has since 2009. Like it's his own fault for fallin, breaking his leg and therefore sucking as a result. |

Practically no interest whasoever here. Only time it's brought up in the news is when there's a doping scandal or a big Swedish success - such as Kessiakoff wearing the polkadot jersey.
EDIT: Too slow

It's sad actually, can't even speak to people about cycling without getting the "whatever, everyone is doped anyway" then when you try to explain that it's probably as big of a problem in cross country skiing but in cycling people actually try to catch dopers, they just tune off. |

Gesink is an awful rider, even worser climber, will never get podium in any GT,never saw worser TT abilities, even Schleck is better in TT than him (this was low kick , really , i mean , how can Schleck be better than someone in TT? Well,he surely is better than Gesink)! Eat that! |

Hei, hei, ta det lungt, grabbar
I can't see Gesink doing any better than a Top 10, but it's fun to see him being praised before every major race.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Would you be kind enough to tell us if or what Gesink has achieved as a rider (if anything) ?
Also, would you please remind us his TT results ? I mean any you could find.
Thanks in advance, I don't have time to search myself now. |

I am not sure about that, but that was joke. It was connected with "argue" of anders and ruben,i wanted to make some mess up. Don't take it seriously,i just want to troll Gesink fans, they fail every time expecting that he is going to take GT! |

Dude, you've got to be kidding...
Calling him "awful" and comparing him to one of the worst timetriallists in the pro peloton is taking it too far. I'm no big Gesink fan, but I still think he's an excellent timetriallist. Andy on the other hand...
EDIT: Thank the lord you were joking. I got scared for a moment...

Nah, the Dutch press is a horrible one. Every young talent is praised as he will become the next Dutch TdF winner (Gesink, Weening, Remmert Wielenga (who??)), and when that rider doesn't win the TdF before he's 25, he's criticized all over. The same with Dutch football-players, etcetera.
That's why we need normal tv-commentators as Thijs Zonneveld, Danny Nelissen and even José Been. Not the lame asses of Ducrot, Dijkstra, and the f*&&$ed up Tour du Jour programme.
