Taylor has a 69 for his hill stat so its really not that great. But haven't had to push hard up any climb yet in Cali.

Thanks, I'm okay with his results, really would like for him to be able to finish when my leadout train works as well as it did today, but he's just not as fast as some of the others.

Hey saw a livestream from ShortsNL, think it is worth a try to do, so I'm starting one, which should be for my AToC stage 4. I'll still do a normal report after as well.

He's already live. No action so far, he's facing some technical difficulties right now.

Correct, still working on getting it right, (which is why the question mark after the title...when fixed it becomes an exclamation point.)

Amgen Tour of California
May 16th, 2013
Sonora – Clovis: 208.5 kms - Flat

Stage four of the tour starts of rather hilly, but ends on a nice long flat the sprinters will enjoy. Assuming they all make it over the climbs it should be a dramatic finish with lots of action.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/41.jpg

Before a break could get established the field went over a few king of the mountain points, with Stephen Cummings taking maximum points over the first three climbs, here just ahead of Francisco Mancebo (5-Hour).
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/42.jpg

After this climb some of the riders that tried for the points established a breakaway, led by Mancebo, other KoM challengers Jason McCartnety (Bissell) and Winner Anacona (Lampre) form the three man breakaway that would establish just over five minutes on the field before being brought back.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/43.jpg

The sprint was ready to be contested and race leader, Giacomo Nizzolo (RSLT) got his team to once side and his sprint train lined up, while points leader Taylor Phinney got his BMC team to line up on the other sided of the road with their own sprint train.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/ToC/44.jpg

The sprint would go well for one side, and poor for the other with Nizzolo taking the win while Phinney slides to 7th. Surprise Luis Leon Sanchez (Blanco) gives Nizzolo a run for his money, perhaps we should think of him as a sprinter now? It seems everyone was just as surprised. Daniele Ratto (Cannondale) rounds out the podium.

The GC doesn't see any major changes, other than some increases in time as the bonus seconds are starting to add up. Cummings maintains a big lead in the KoM, and Nizzolo overtakes Phinney in points.

Would like to say I got the livestream working well! Thanks to baseballover312 who was able to watch I'll be doing all my stages this way now that I know I can, and it wasn't that difficult.

Will be looking to livestream the next Giro stage probably 11AM my time (US Central). (5PM London time)

Surprising results in Young classification in Giro, I thought Majka, Betancour or Ulissi would challenge it.
Why do you keep writing "Wiggens" instead of "Wiggins"?

Young riders are always a bit of a guess depending on how much they are doing for their team leaders. And... Don't know why I keep typing Wiggens... will correct that in the future.

Giro d'Italia
May 16th, 2013
Tarvisio (Cave del Predil) – Vajont (Erto e Casso): 184.5 kms - Mountains

Stage 11 is another mountainous stage, though not as hard as the last. Of the two climbs the first is just long, never really having steep grades, and the second still doesn't have any extreme grades to deal with, and is only a concern because the finish is at the top.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/111.jpg

The early break of the day would have some chance, and many of the riders would get to the end around the same time as the peloton. Martin Kohler runs out to grab the sprint points but gets dropped on the climb and is never quite able to regain contact to the group.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/112.jpg

On the mid-stage climb, Franco Pellizotti (Androni), Matteo Rabottini (Vini), Jurgen Van den Broeck (Lotto), and Haimar Zubeldia (RSLT) all attack hoping to bridge across to the breakaway and have a chance to get a stage win.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/113.jpg

BMC sends out Domonik Nerz, but that is responed to by race leader Brad Wiggins (Sky); who of course gets reactions from others as Sammuel Sanchez (Euskaltel), Robert Gesink (Blanco), and Vincenzo Nibali (Astana) all follow behind.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/114.jpg

On the last climb it is Robert Gesink who is in 8th place that makes the first move, he doesn't get a major reaction from the field, but the Sky team just continues to control the group and pulls him back before he can get any further away.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/115.jpg

The final, but also un-decisive attack is led by Domenico Pozzivivo (AG2R), Robert Gesink gives another try behind him, followed by Roman Kreuziger (Saxo), and by Vincenzo Nibali. None of these would matter much, as the race was being won at the same time by the select breakaway riders.
i12.photobucket.com/albums/a218/Centaursunder/BMC/2013/Giro/116.jpg

The finish would see Haimar Zubeldia and Jurgen Van den Broeck separate from the others in the breakaway, and have a little sprint to themselves. This would be won by Van den Broeck, as Zubeldia would have to live with 2nd place after a great opportunity for a struggling RadioShack team to get a win. Other breakaway riders would fill in until 8th where Cadel Evans would lead the GC favorites group.
