Didn't Stannard do well at KBK a few years ago in a similar weather situation to this? I remember thinking he was massively strong that day.
He and Traksel followed a very impressive Cancellara on that day.

Gilbert has dropped a long way back so I doubt he will be trying again. I can't think of many guys in there who would gain a lot by really going for an attack.
