Dude, I liked you, but now you're seriously becoming like the norwegians
Haha, I guess that's somehow not what I wanted to achieve.
Vi eier sykkelwerden!
Thanks for the feedback, and sorry
Bear with me, Germany craves for GT riders, and he might become the closest to one since a very long time (or a good puncheur, I'll take that too) . This sport is slowly dying with less and less professional and youth teams (Thüringer Energie might be about to fold) and close to no positive media coverage, and the occasional sprint win doesn't do the job, because cycling is Tour, and Tour is mountains..
.(for most WT races, the newspapers only post the GC standings and final results which are obviously shit 95% of the time)
I hope someone is enjoying the small insight on juniors and U23 racing, and for everyone else, just see it as a smalll real-life one rider story with occasional updates you can easily skip
Oh and everyone feel free to think of me whatever you want, as long as it doesn't affect the discussion.

Well, the Netherlands scream for a GT winner as well, so that might clear things up for you guys
And I like following U23 races a bit, so I don't mind it a lot cio

Ulrich? Can you consider him a GT winner?
He probably wasn't any more doped then any other rider the year he won, so yeah i guess he counts if you are gonna go down the list and find a cyclist that wasnt doped to give the win to, you might have to go get new reading glasses

Vuelta winner
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong

Let alone GT winner, the Netherlands is screaming even more for just a stage winner in the Tour, last time was Weening on 05 I believe... since then it's been nothing at all.

Pieter Weening 2011 in Giro
edit: wait this is the NC thread? why are we complaining why our countries doesn't win a GT?
