Really great to see Löfkvist back on a higher level again.
Excellent performance from Reda too. He's a really underrated climber I think.

Strong climb by Peraud and Reda there. Also Rebellin in top 10 at over 40 years of age. That's very good. |

Good riding by Lofkvist, now that he can get chances to lead in certain races, I hope he can keep this up. IAM had a good stage, with Denifl also getting either in or very close to the top 10 in GC. Oh, and Montaguti did well to get Peraud into a good position for his first road win.

Lovkvist gets the overall win of the Tour Med after a confusing finish. Peraud is second, Reda third, Monfort fourth and Roche fifth.
Roelandts grabs the last stage win in front of Reda... |

im often on the fence in regards to rebellin. should we feel bad for the guy? considering guys like basso and scarponi came back with no problems but rebellin was given the cold shoulder.
his wins always seemed so cerebral to me too. it wasnt like a dekker whod just power away, you could say, yea dekker was just the dope but rebellin was smart. he was more than just the epo in his veins. still a cheat no doubt, but i do feel a little bad.
anyway its nice to see him doing alright, but its a far way off from his former glory...
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!

Marcel Kittel wins the first Oman stage, Appollonio and Bouhanni on 2 and 3. Neither Goss nor Sagan in Top10.

The reason he gets the cold shoulder would have a lot to do with the fact that he still claims it was a lab mix up and that he never took EPO-CERA, be honest and own up to it then yeah I wish him luck but he wont so I can't find joy in seeing him do well.

You really should not feel bad for anyone that has ridden for Gerolsteiner. |

Consistent ride from Filippo Fortin of Bardani. He has another top ten after a regular Tour of Qatar. He has a real talent. |

According to his words, Sagan served as the leadout for Viviani in the first stage and same should happen in the second one, if Viviani will feel okay. I sense some changes in Sagan preparation, maybe winning everything in the first three months is not the goal anymore, that could be good for classics.

Well he didn't win everything in the first months Last year he had a very decent prep, almost perfect I'd say.
However I think too we will see improved version of Sagan this year in the classics
