Great race so far - gutted that the safety car has screwed it for Button and Hulkenburg

Webber pulled over to let Vettel though. Massa takes teamplay too far.

Indeed, but in my opinion, he started the chaos for Vettel by going to the left side riight at the start, slowing down Vettel and opening the space for Alonso on the right.
Plus at the re-start, he tried to overtake Vettel. I'm by no means a fan of team order, but I would refrain to do that in any situation, especially now with slicks in the wet.

Point 1: You expect Webber to hinder his start to help Vettel, thats stupid. Vettel should have qualified better to avoid that
Point 2: Seemed to me that Webber ended up not turning in to avoid a potential incident. Vettel's fault for being slow on the restart.

It's mandatory when the car is using either intermediate or rain tyres.

Vettel doesnt deserve this sixth place today! First off he caused a collision (he should be experienced enough to look into a mirror) in lap 4 and then he was also loosing parts on the track during the race... Oh and he overtook under yellow. But the FIA is having none of it... Disappointing FIA, Disappointing
Btw, Hülkenberg got a drive through for loosing control on the wet parts of the track while attempting an overtake and eventually sliding into Hamilton... Now That should have been a race incident and not worth a penalty...
Just shos you how much money Red Bull puts into the Formula one... Im pretty sure its not just into the two teams but also towards an institution Jean Todt is currently heading up... Say about Mosley what you want, but Maxi the Nazi was better than the whole fia organisation is now...
(And yes, I cant stand Red Bull and Vettel. But neither can I stand Alonso. he just happens to be that much more sympathic)

Well, that was exciting as opposed to the borefest I was expecting. Good show. And congrats Vettel of course
That said I'm yearning for a different champion next year. On one hand because I can't stand Alonso's personality or Vettel's ridiculous overflow of constant luck, and on the other hand because the last time the best driver of the season actually won the championship was 2005. And that's pretty damn awful for a series.
If Massa won, it would be the fairytale

Yes,that was his fault, he turned in on Senna. You won't find anyone with racing experience telling you anything else.
Also,
Sniff Petrol ‏@sniffpetrol
I was hoping it was Nelson Piquet Junior. He'd walk on, deliberately slip over and fall off the edge of the podium. #F1

I agree with that! Hate Vettel, and can't stand Alonso, but wanted Alonso to win!

Oh, and for the people saying Vettel overtook under yellow: It was a solid yellow, not a blinking one. It indicates a slippery track, not an incident or debris.
You can overtake under a solid yellow. But of course miggi is correct he should've had a penalty for the T1 crash.

Like exploding motors in India or broken alternators in Valencia and Italy.

I've yet to see a satisfying slow-motion, but I severely question Senna's way to overtake several cars going into a corner. There was no way he could have passed Vettel, and I doubt the latter was off his line.

Cheers for clearing that up! I turned off the sound until the podium (waanted to hear what Alonso had to say) and then afterwards swithced to NFL immediately as I cant stand a word comming of neither vettels nor (actually even less) Horners... And during the broadcast Brundle claimed it should be called illegal overtake under yellow...

Shall we compare it to his luck? It's a drop in the water. Hell compare it to Webber's reliability in the exact same car. Reads like a conspiracy.

The rule is simple. At the turn-in point you cannot turn-in if you have a car inside with a front wing alongside your rear wheel. So Vettel could not turn in. They showed an onboard with Senna, but as far as I know only once.

I've just seen it again, and it looks like Senna doesn't pass Vettel's back wheel until Vettel already steers left. If I was Vettel, I would've never thought he'll try to get on par with me as well, after making up 3 car lengths braking late.
At the most, a racing incident.

Or Bourdais at Toro Rosso when Vettel was his team mate. You've to wonder if every thing is deliberately made to have the "home driver" (Vettel has developed through the Red Bull system) beating the other driver, or if the team is just neglecting the second car. Last possibility : just good or bad luck. But I'm hardly buying when the same thing happens five years in a row.
That being said, what happened with engines or alternators can hardly be called luck. Red Bull Racing have chosen to be more aggressive on performance and less reliable, which causes them to break more engines or peripheral parts than other team with the same engine (all combined, Lotus, Williams and Caterham broke less engines, alternators or KERS system than Red Bull). |

This was an epic race.
I'm glad Vettel won the title, I mean, he had to come from the back of the field after the racing accident with Bruno Senna, and did exactly what he needed to do.
A pity that Hulkenberg didn't manage to keep his position, it would have been great if he won. I can see Hulkenberg win a race next year, in the Sauber.
Schuey had a nice race, 7 seems to be a symbolic number for him: 7 world titles, car #7 and finishing 7th.
