( 2nd GP Costa Degli Etruschi, DNF Worlds, 1st Milano-Torino, 28th Il Lombardia, 1st Coppa Sabatini and now 1st Giro dell'Emilia - can't find more consistent rider now in small Italian races, but when it comes to big ones, he usually fades away - hope he does develop the engine needed in next years to do so )
Villella continues amazing late form. And so does Bongiorno. What a talents both of them. Zardini with very good result too.

The norwegian Eurosport-commentator has a tendeny to sound like he is on a wildlife show, or something. He has the voice of someone who is whipsering to not disturb a badger.
"And here we see the elegant Lampre-rider in its natural territory . Shh, be quiet, we don't wanna disturb him while we try to lure him out of his hidingplace. Now, the story goes that if he sees his own blood results, we'll have two more months of controversy".
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"
Also a decent result for Chris Anker, but he usually does well in the late season classics.
Funny thing he gave this interview a month ago: https://sporten.tv...blive-toer
I would link to a Google Translate of the page, but the english translation makes absolutely no sense. He basically says he is tired of second places, guess todays result won't help with that
Really great result from Ulissi. Let's hope next year he can shine in even bigger races. Interested in Villella's development for next season. Same for Bongiorno.
If Ulissi can start to ride better over longer distances then he could be one of the best hilly classics riders over the next 5 years. Lombardia, LBL, hell even Milan San Remo would all suit him brilliantly if he just learns to conserve his energy better.
Just watched the highlights of stage 2 in Beijing and i have to take my hat off to Bouhanni for letting all the other teams battle it out and then sneak it at the line, very nice
Tony Martin causing absolute mayhem on the descent. He could take this if he's done enough damage to the peloton to strip the likes of Rui Costa of team mates.
