Well the new season is nearly upon us so i thought i would give you a little heads up to where we are.
After the disappointment of last season we find ourselves still in the Pro Continental division so our first real aim is to get that Promotion to the World Tour, which i think is achievable considering the new recruits we have acquired in the off season.
Secondly i would really like to see the guys get more wins to there name which will certainly boost our profile amongst the general public and the cycling world as a whole.
At the moment the guys are away at different training camps in Austrlia and New Zealand getting some much needed miles into there legs and at the same time getting used to our new equipment
We had three riders leave our ranks over the winter, Jure Kocjan wanted a new challenge so joined Adria Mobil, Eugene Matthews didn't live up to the expectations we had of him so accepted the approach from Drapac to take him back to his homeland and Alexander Serebryakov felt he wasn't the first chice sprinter anymore after the arrivals of Swift and Blythe last season so decided not to renew his contract with us and will now be riding in the colours of Katusha instead.
On the plus side we are happy to announce the arrivals of Top sprinter Tyler Farrar from Garmin along with compatriot Peter Stetina, time triallist Lawson Craddock from Bontrager, un-attached Caleb Fairly who we think will be a star of the future and growing talent Sondre Holst Enger from BMC Plussbank and veteran sprinter Fred Rodriguez from Team Exergy.
On the equipment side of things Colnago didn't extend there partnership with us so we are happy to announce that Orbea will be our official bike supplier for the coming season as will American Classic with our wheels too.

The team has today received confirmation from the Organisers of the Vuelta a Espana that there request to be included in the race this year has been accepted, which means that the team will ride its first Grand Tour in its short history.
Team Manager Phil Southerland was ecstatic with the news and said it gives the team and the riders something to look forward to come September in what will be a very very special occasion |

Kiserlovski01 - You would think so but it will all depend on form and fitness at the end of the day. |

the_hoyle - Yes they were the original riders from before and the teams schedule won't be as busy as in other seasons so we can be challengers throughout the season - hopefully |

Ian Butler - The team cannot wait to ride there first GT but its a shame that they have to wait until September for that to happen though and hopefully a reduced calendar will be better for them all |

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Buninyong – Buninyong – 195.5km
Brooks/Euride Racing, Kerby/Christina Watches, Newell/Huon Salmon, Jennings/Sava Cycling and Lowe/Data#3 Cisco are the five riders that make up this breakaway
There advantage is currently 3m 16s
Orica Greenedge have come to the front of the peleton to try and up the pace
The leaders continue to share the work
More teams are now helping out with the chasing and the lead is crumbling
Just Lowe remains as we pass the ten kilometre to go banner
Everything is once again back together and its Bobridge/Team Novo Nordisk who hits the front
Goss/Orica GreenEdge leads everyone towards the flame rouge
And he holds on until the end to become the new National Champion of Australia

Feel sorry for Jack there, he tried really hard in the closing kilometres but was up against far stronger and faster finishers, still i think he will be content with his seventh placed finish |

COPA AMERICA DE CICLISMO
Rio De Janeiro – 110.7km
Fiedler/NSP Ghost, Sydlik/Nutrixxion, Acevedo/Jamis Hagens Berman and Murillo/7up Cycling are just in the process of attacking from the pack
Three more riders Hernandez/Burgos BH, Bacon/BigMat Auber and Kennaugh/NFTO are trying to get across to them
Despite the two groups joining forces it wasn't long before the peleton had them safely back in there control
Another group of four led by Bibby/Madison Genesis is trying to slip off the front
With no one seeming that interested Team Novo Nordisk have come to the front to try and bring the break back
The front group has swelled to thirteen riders and with only Novo Nordisk willing to chase they may go all the way to the finish
Walselben/Nutrixxion-Abus has attacked out of the front group
He enters the final kilometre with 45s in hand
And he has done it, what a Great solo victory for the German
