Stannard
Rowe
Gegenhart
Brailsfraud himself .
Tbh I'd love to see Kiryienka run everybody away from his wheel.
As for Froome seeing himself is Bernal - is the entire Sky team delusional?

What do you think the French would do if Sky took a young French rider and turned him into a Tour winner?
Alaphilippe? Imagine That

I didn't say anything about the age of the previous Sky winners. But I'll amend my question.

That`s where the hate is coming from.
They signed Elissonde, didn`t give him a TdF spot and neither the dominant Sky Leader there. |

That wont happen, as Brailsfors is francophobic...
Also Alaphilippe as GT winner would still make sense, unlike Wiggins, Froome or Thomas.

He's not Franco phobic. He just had enough of the French Media and hit out in the heat of the moment.
He's got a French Directeur Sportif on his team.

Isn't there an Italian link in respect of sponsorship?
I think Brailsford did say at one point that their next target was to win the Tour with a French rider. I think that was before the French media pissed him off so now he will probably just win it with anyone but a French rider just for the LOLs
TGH is probably the most likely heir to Froome/Thomas. Especially after the Yates' re-signed for Mitchelton.

Froome had a blood sickness that ate red bloodcells. That's why he basicly struggled a long time.
Would be cool to see them turn a french guy into a real GC contender, wonder if they would get booed then

You seem to be answering my question by asking the same question.
I don't know the answer, that's why I asked. But I thought I'd read/head of an Italian link.
Don't Sky Sports have an Italian Channel? Also their bikes are Pinarello and their kits are Castelli so there is a definite Italian link.

Chapter #78 of How to Win the Tour de France for dummies:
When the french media starts attacking you, because you know, well, erm... because, use that to divert the attention from the real questions you probably have left unanswered by now.
Victimize yourself as a true sufferer at the hands of these cruel baguette-eaters.
You can try and use arguments like "They're just saying that because I'm [insert your non-french nationality]" or "They haven't won since Hinault, so they need a scapegoat".
And if you run out of lines, don't worry, just buy an Armstrong book. There's nothing you can make up about the french media he hasn't already said!
