Exciting finish there in the ToB and Cav finishes it for the British crowd. |

Cavendish wins Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain after the break is caught at 1km to go. Viviani almost took out Van Hoff after the line

Good work by Van Hoff to stay on the bike as Viviani came across him on the line. Could have been very messy if he went down there... |

About a bike length for Cav. To be honest the whole bunch did pretty well to avoid disaster there - a lot of riders going backwards quickly from the break in the last km as everyone else clamoured to the front.

Looks like Bakelants took another step up the ladder, leaning on Voeckler and getting a great run through that last corner to win. |

GP de Wallonie (203.1 km) (1.1)
Tour of China I, Stage 4: Chengdu Dujiangyan (101.7 km) (2.1)
Tour of Britain, Stage 4: Stoke-on-Trent - Llanberis (191 km) (2.1)
Rojas just missed out on his favourite place.

Had some decent sprint result, especially in stages with some hills, also participated in Avenir(but didn't do anything there )

Well, clicking his name and clicking on his best results and inspecting them doesn't take too much effort

Willier already took care of that. Then again, you can never have too many classic Rojas/ventoso/farrar jokes.

Good to see Bakelants winning again and carrying that form from Le Tour.. Von Hoff seems to be really finding his legs, could pull out some good results next season.

Great finish from Bakelants in Wallonie. He has been tremendous this season.
Could barely stand watching the finish, though. Swedish Eurosport managed to find yet another useless reserve commentator. According to him, Bakelants won the race ahead of "Thomas Foeckler" and "Michael Frank", with "Zico Fleuytens" in 7th. You really need be better at pronouncing names than that if you're working as a commentator.

Paulo Martins style Pelli .
I was listening on the stream by Kirby and noticed a couple of things: he prays Voeckler, like a lot, too much even. Then he pronunces Michal, Michael, wrong. Still the best part was when he started saying things like Voeckler is a bad guy, good guy, a killer? You'll never know with Tommy Voeckler. |

I especially enjoyed the image of someone with the Belgian national jersey on the highest step of the podium...
Hope to see that again in a week and a half. |
