Stijn: I'm feeling good. I think I can win this stage, especially with that hill near the end.

Willy: We have the jersey, but with only 5 man left, we'll need to make an alliance in the peloton.

The Race

brought to you by Sporza

We're now coming live into the race, where Liquigas is providing a helping hand for Garmin. They've come here with ambitious plans, but all they can do now is win more stages, so that's what they'll try to do!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1802_zpsaf2826e2.jpg

The peloton's moving too slow here. The breakaway is still dangerously far ahead so close to the finish!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1803_zps16dab11d.jpg

We reached the only hill of the day, and Lou Smeets puts himself on front, it's now or never, the break has to be caught before the top!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1804_zps181efaf4.jpg

Smeets puts in an amazing effort, he's ju -- Hey, where's he going? - Does he know he's going solo now? He looks behind him now, that's quite a gap. What's he do now?

- I think he just has to keep going, they won't catch the break now.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1805_zps10729ef0.jpg

At the front, some riders are trying to go solo now!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1806_zps37ab5993.jpg

But it ends in a sprint and Kasymov is the fastest today! Well done!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1807_zps566b935b.jpg

And a big surprise here! Etxabe, third in ranking, lost contact with the speeding pack! He's losing time!

Stijn & Willy's Opinion

Stijn: Really unfortunate that the break made it to the finish. I had amazing legs today and I'm sure I would've sprinted for the win!

Oh well, another chance tomorrow. It's real hard with only 5 riders on the squad, but we're making the most of it.

See you tomorrow,
Stijn & Willy

Shame that break made it to the finish, but with 5 riders, it isn't easy Sad

100.000 views. It's a long way indeed. And the perfect way to get this is with the win in the Tour. It's almost guaranteed.

It isn't easy to control the pack with 5 riders.
Congratulations with the new milestone of 100000 viewers Grin

Ollfardh - Thanks a lot for that view and all the previous views Wink

Jeselyh - Thanks! 5 riders is nothing. All my flat riders are gone, 3 climbers can't control a 10 man breakaway Frown

Miguel98 - The Time Trial will be deciding Wink

PCM rulezz - Thanks a lot! It's great to have so many views Shock

krisa - Cool

We're at the end of the road here. I took a decision. I will finish this story TODAY!

Three more stages coming up this day, tonight it'll all be over.

I want to thank you all for your continued support, comments, following and those 100.000 views. Let's wrap this up in style!

Stijn: Today I hope the peloton catches the break. I'm getting better and better, now that the mountains are behind us!

Willy: There shouldn't be any problems today.

The Race

brought to you by Sporza

It just rains attacks this first half hour! This will tire out a lot of riders today!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1902_zps88212d32.jpg

Finally a bunch of riders managed to break away. Garmin has gotten a big support by Sky and Lotto, sprinter teams, of course!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/tdf1903_zpsbf48f09a.jpg

And today it couldn't be more obvious, we're heading for the straight mass sprint! Van Gent coming up on the left here, what a speed!

OOH victory number 5!

Stijn & Willy's Opinion

Stijn: Yes! Amazing. Finishing the Tour now suffices to take the Green Jersey, but how beautiful would a win be on the Champs? I'm ready for it!

Willy: The fight isn't over yet. One more big day. The time trial tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous, but I know I can handle it. This is my Tour!

See you tomorrow!
Stijn & Willy

Great win! Now, Willy wins the Tour and Stijn wins on the Champs-Elysées. Deal?

Great win for Stijn. So, today the results of the contest, when it will be revealed? After Champs-Elysses right?

I'd like to thank you for this story(already).
It was a great story, and we really saw them developing from young, ambitious talents, to legends.

Also, this is the first story of yours that really feels complete, to me. Wink Perfect moment to stop, and start an even better story for PCM 13. Remember, you're under pressure now Pfft
