I'm surprised you've never heard of them. Then again they're not mainstream, but they're one of the most famous metal bands ever. And yeah, most of their songs are a lot longer than that and less mellow, so I had to choose wisely

Nice to listen to, but I know plenty of bands like this.
This is Phoenix, an indie-rock band from France. I know them because of the night loop of Eurosport HD, their song "Lasso" is featured in it, be sure to check that one out too:
Phoenix is a great band, I have two of their albums (Alphabetical and Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix) and both are fantastic. You also might know "1901", it's used in the O2 commercial (at least in Germany...).
I'm on a total REM trip at the moment! They have so many fantastic songs, it's amazing. This one is running the whole day:

Put this DVD back on earlier today and this is such an amazing live version of an acoustic song, especially when Nils rips the shit out of that solo...]
