Suntory were all over the front of Roubaix U23 but none of the breaks stayed away so a large group entered the velodrome lead by Romano with Zanni and Smith close behind so I had high hopes of a bit of teamwork to get a win.
Zanni sets a high tempo and on the back straight we have 3 in the top 4, surely we can't lose this!
Smith launches his sprint, he is leading with a few meters to go, then some crazy acceleration from Pugh takes him from 10th to first and its another 2nd place for Suntory. Close but no banana
Congrats Brewers and thanks to Shonak for another great video, fantastic to see the way the race developed.

Darn it, a Sagan win isn't good for our World Cup record. GVK should gain points on him on the cobbles, not lose them.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Sagan winning is always awesome but also the rest of the team with a strong race. Boom controlling the pace with some huge turns inside the 20km mark allowed Sagan to save some energy and the depth of our team with all 7 riders inside the top 40 is sick. I dont know the point structure by heart but Boom, Eisaks and Senechal inside the top 15 should bring some nice points
Sadly not a WC race as Sagan could have needed the big points after some slightly concerning performances earlier.
"The CarbonSports Team of Geissler chases down the breakaway" (1/2 @0:20): PCM has the comments on point.
Thanks Shonak!

Both Deg and Greg in the top 10 is excellent. Hopefully our recovery continues in the further races.

Superb start to the race, Ponzi is so far doing a lot better than I could have hoped for. I also have no clue what Cambianca was doing up there, but probably delievering an amazing leadout, great stuff! The goal for Caruso has to be the podium again, hopefully he can do it this time around.
Puccio managed to gain a spot in the last two stages of Istrian Spring Trophy, but obviously not in the way we wanted this to happen. Commiserations to you, dominox.
It most certainly has been discussed before but Ripley already showed me that I've got a terrible memory, so I don't remember.
So I'm just curious at which value have we actually set the crash ratio?

Yeah, Dowsett was 5th, so it wasn't a typical sprint. A GC podium is possible for Fuglsang, maybe even another win, I'm hoping for another good ITT next.

From my first season I promised myself missing out on GVA was okay because I had Siskevicius. Now I have proof <3 What a man, what a result, proving he can race the big boys in the cobbles
And Ollfardh... I told you Siskevicius was a cobbles leader
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
