Arredondo surely lost time today, dno how much. Same can be said for Ten Dam.
Edit: Also Van de Broeck and De Clerq who apparantly was supposed to be leader, now only Monfort left. Add those four names to Kudus, Betancur, Yates, Pinot, Cunego, Dennis who are out of the GC as well. Well, I don't think Arredondo was aiming for the GC, more like stage wins and maybe a mountain jersey

I'd really like to see Meintjes going for a KoM jersey. It would be amazing if he achieved that on his first GT.

I doubt many of these riders went into the Vuelta with GC-aspirations, but I just ruled some people out who was/is/maybe be in the future capable of going into the top-10 due to time losses before the mountains |

Allthough I dont understand spanish fully (I wish I did, biciciclismo always have great articles on spanish and columbian riders), Chavez seems to be in good shape. I say he goes into the top-3 tomorrow. |

Matthews, Degenkolb and Bouhanni still in there.
Garmin looks to be caught out in some big way.

Sánchez also not in the lead group, Personal drama then again, Sáchez is not really GC material.
