Junior Men:
Ivan Venter -----> really strong rider. Does some MTB as well. Cool guy too. Raced against him once or twice in MTB marathons. Beat him once Also, might be riding in same team as him in a junior tour next year. (brother of Jaco Venter, rider at MTN-Qhubeka)
Ryan Felgate -----> super strong guy. Don't know him personally, but he's quite a machine. SA junior TT champ. He should do well on this course.
Who are the favourites for the junior TT?

I don't follow Women's racing closely but given here small stature and the completely flat parcours she wouldn't stand much chance..?

Are there seriously no GB women in the Elite TT? Could have sworn Pooley was supposed to participate
She pulled out to focus on her PhD studies. GB also had nobody in the U23 TT earlier because Perrett pulled out for some reason. |

I don't know much about junior racing, but Decraene ( ) should be one of the top favourites. |

She's riding the main one mate. There isn't a Women U23 race. |

Igor Decraene (BE) is world champion junior TT.
Seen him ride a few weeks ago and he really impressed me. Never expected him to become world champ though... |

Very nice win from him, and 2 gold medals for Belgium already, though this will probably be it
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

For once the Danish National Coaches weren't exaggerating when they said the Danes both had potential for top 10 and perhaps even a top 5

Does anyone know who the male commentator from the Eurosport International broadcast is? He really is quite clueless. He clearly hasn't done his homework, he had no idea about the Toscana boycott.

Van Dijk (NED) wins the Women's ITT by miles. Villumsen (NZL) 2nd and Small (USA) 3rd.
Also, Gibson Matthew . Not another Thomas Geraint situation. |

Worth pointing out the time differences from place 3 to 5.
Small +28.74
Stevens +28.78
Worrack +31.66
You can't sleep well missing out on a medal by 0.04 secs.

ToB had Jarc Blaz on one of their stage result graphics.

So that's five years in a row with medals but no gold for Linda Villumsen now. I'm quite sure she feels she lost gold rather than won silver today!
Also surprisingly good race by Annika Langvad. Don't think anyone had expected the Danish Mountain-biker to be this fast.
Edit: And 4 of Specialized - Lululemon's TTT-riders in top 5

I understand why Specialized-Lululemon took the TTT win by a mile now.
