Don't see why he wouldn't be selected next year if he has similar form as this year

In interview by Polish Eurosport, Kwiatek told that he considers going for GC in stage races easier than fighting in classics, so he's going to focus on one- and three-week races in future.

After Petacchi and Uran, Lefevere (OPQS) confirmed Renshaw as well will sign with them in August to strengthen their sprint train.
I don't know whether this is new or not. Of course there were rumours, but I think this is the first time the rumour is confirmed by Lefevere himself.
So next year's OPQS TdF team will look something like this:
Uran
Cavendish
Chavanel
Kwiatkowski
Martin
Petacchi
Renshaw
Stybar?
Velits?

John Lelangue will leave BMC immediately. No surprise, there were a lot of tensions during the Tour already.
Ledanois should normally take over his duties.

So far, this is the top 10 countries which will decide how many riders each country may bring to Firenze. The top 10 can select 9 riders.
1. Spain
2. UK
3. Colombia
4. Italy
5. Australia
6. The Netherlands
7. France
8. Switzerland
9. Slovakia
10. Belgium
Belgium is 18 points ahead of the USA and 37 ahead of Poland. The Clasica San Sebastian and the Tour of Poland are the last chances to enter the top 10.
Does Slovakia even have 9 riders? There are the Sagan brothers and the Velits brothers, but that's about it, I think... |

So Belgium could actually miss the top 10! I guess that Boonen being off form during the spring season and VDB crashing out the Tour have hurted their chances. Not that they have much of a chance anyway in that route, unless Phil finds a time machine and brings his 2011 self back.

Last year, the situation for Gilbert was the exact same. He won his first race in the Vuelta back then, so don't write him off just yet. Though, the route favours more of a climber like Vanendert or Bakelants and neither of them can beat Nibali, Rodriguez or the Colombians. |

Boonen saying he can race the finale. Kind of doubt that, though
If we could only send 6, I'd say about Bakelants, Hermans, Gilbert, Van Avermaet, Monfort and Vanendert (though he hasn't been performing well...) |

As we suspected, Voigt is just saying good bye to the Tour, but not to the sport.

They have a really good team.Cancellara,Albasini,Frank,Morabito,Zaugg,Rast,Kohler,Schar,Elmiger are all good riders for a race like WC.Albasini,Frank,Morabito and Zaugg will pace Cancellara on climbs and Rast,Kohler,Schar and Elmiger will work on flat. Also Albasini and Frank can join a strong breakaway group.

O'Grady to retire with immediate effect. Not a bad career.
