Oh thank god. Someone else who loves this absolute masterpiece of a film. For me it did to the action genre what Cabin In The Woods did for the Horror genre. One of the top 5 films I saw last year.
Django was really good too, though I don't really like Tarantino's style.
Hey, Hey! Irish Director, paired with the Irish Charlie Sheen? Whats there not to like?
Especially, how McDonagh exploits Farrells Dublin Accent in his films is hilarious. Pretty sure he wrote seven Psychos with Collin in mind!
(though my favourtie quote in a film where they have worked together: I grew up iin Dublin, I luv Dublin... And Bruge is just a fucking shithole [BTW: that misspelling of Love is intended ])
Actually, the guard was a very good movie as well, have you seen it CountArach?
Saw in Bruges a few weeks ago, thought it was great as well.
And also, not that it really matters, but Leonardo Dicaprio has never won an Academy Award, has he? Well, he's the best actor to never win an Oscar for me.

Yeah he has never won one and it is one of those legendary jokes of the industry. He acts so well but as my girlfriend pointed out - whenever you look at him you can see how well he is acting but you can always see that he is acting. He just doesn't seem to... I guess, sink in to the character as much as others.

It's really bad, but just surprised that they did that, although they could have spent the effort better
@Ian You have to hit the ball with a well, tennis like thing, and make sure it doesn't hit the ground. You have to hit all the blocks above, before your ball falls next to your 'bat'...
The game is pretty famous, but pretty boring. It has a name for sure, but I don't know which one. I would say look for yourself, and click on the 'click here' button that appears during the credits...
Where do we live. Those young people who dont know the name of a legend called ARKANOID.
One of the first games i have ever played back in early 90s, together with Tetris and Prince of Persia.

Really awesome movie, both actors you mentioned were great, but Ch.Walz totally stole the whole show imo, he was stunning in his role!

Glad to hear this hasn't been the case, though!
He said this was his penultimate movie, so i am pretty much looking forward what he brings in the future in his last one. It will be epic for sure! One of the best three directors ever for me, together with D.Lynch and S.Kubrick (sorry F.F. Coppola, you are the fourth).

I'm gonna go see it next week. I'm damn curious, too
I just got back from watching it, it was incredible. Has Tarintino ever made a bad movie?
Grindhouse : Death Proof was enjoyable, but very average by Tarantino's standards.
I could say the same about Jackie Brown.
I saw Django one week ago (English version was full, so I had to see it in French ). The part in the plantation is a bit long, but I really enjoyed it.
I thought the gore part were too much though. They're typical of Tarantino's style, but he's not that far from self-parody here.
Also, why is his character so far in the film ?
Talking about another film : I'm normally going to see The Master tonight.
Jackie Brown is absolute masterpiece, i believe maybe one of his best films, i liked it very much. Also Grindhouse is fantastic, only role of Kurt Russel, where i can actually like his acting. For me, maybe Kill Bill is the weakest of his masterpieces...

However this is partly true, Di Caprio is imo the best actor in Hollywood in last ten years for sure (not counting old dogs like S.L.Jackson,De Niro and others). Aviator, Shutter island, What's Eating Gilbert Grape- all these acts deserved the award maybe.

Well, good thing that Acadamy Awards are just the biggest bunch of bullshit in the world, it don't mean a thing but business.
I think Di Caprio is a great actor, especially qualified in different accents! |

I've only seen Jackie Brown once, perhaps twice. I enjoyed it, but to a much lesser level that what it'd do to me to watch his other movies (Grindhouse not included).
As for Grindhouse, it's the same. Better than anything standard by any random director, but nowhere close to Tarantino's summits.
Kill Bill however is one of my very favourites.
I guess that can be explained quite easily. Tarantino has a huge culture of cinema, and makes constant references to sometimes obscure films of the genre he is filming.
When you've got that particular culture he's on about in one of his films that makes more sense to you and you enjoy it better. I guess that's why I enjoyed Kill Bill so much (I'm not an expert of Kung Fu movies, but samurai/swordsmen make sense to me, etc.) |

It was in the news quite recently, that's why I know something about it . Indeed, you have to have a pass (the 'weed pass' ) with you whenever you want to enter a coffeeshop. Only Dutch citizens can own one, so foreigners can't come to the Netherlands and buy something to deal it in another country or so.

And so the prices in Belgium have gone up quite much. Luckily, the pass is only in the South so we Belgians just have to ride a little longer.

Wow, this day is one to forget... Ive been in college from 9 to six and never really woke up... (And all i had were to classes and Gym work) To be honest, I am still tired...
Want prove?
I just read the titles in the recent activity section and there was one which said "Activate pcm in Steam"...
I am so out of it, I read "Activate Porn in Steam" at first...

This clearly means you want to watch porn after a hard day in college.
