@Ian: Martin did a great ride. He dominated the TT, and just sat on the wheels of the GC rivals in the mountains.
@Rogvi: As I said to Franco, you aren't late at all. I only did the update last night Delighted with the Nat Champs win

Contador: I'm out of the Tour!
On the eve of the Tour de France, Alberto Contador has revealed that he will not be part of this year's Grande Boucle.
The Spanish rider fell during stage 5 of the Critérium du Dauphiné, badly injuring his ribs. He finished the stage, but was in too much pain to carry on the day after. SaxoBank refused to release details of the injury, waiting to see if Contador could recover in time for the Tour, but it seems time ran out for him.

@Ian & Franco: It is a big shock! PCM said that he would be back 'end of June' after he crashed, but that was extended to 'start of July' shortly after.
I'm at the start of the Tour and he is still classed as injured. Leaves the door open to Schleck/Wiggins now.

2nd - 24th July 2011 - Le Tour de France
The day has arrived... The 2011 Tour de France is here.
HTC - Highroad head to the Grande Boucle with two distinct teams in mind. One for the sprints and one for GC.
As you are well aware already, I will lead the team in the sprints. Green is my aim, and the team around is more than capable of helping achieve this. The lead out train is made up Bert Grabsch, Lars Bak, Bernie Eisel and Mark Renshaw.
For GC, Tejay van Garderen will lead the team, with his main aim being a Top 10 finish overall and the Under 25 Young Riders Jersey. He will be aided by Tony Martin and Kanstantsin Sivtsov, who will work at domestiques in the Mountains.
Danny Pate completes the line up, and he will work at domestique for the team throughout the race.
Andy Schleck (Leopard - Trek)
Cadel Evans (BMC Racing Team)
Bradley Wiggins (Sky ProCycling)
Mark Cavendish (HTC - Highroad)
Andre Greipel (OmegaPharma - Lotto)
Tyler Farrar (Team Garmin - Cervélo)
Samuel Sánchez (Euskatel - Euskadi)
Thomas Voeckler (Team Europcar)
Sylvain Chavanel (QuickStep Cycling Team)
Pierre Rolland (Team Europcar)
Tejay van Garderen (HTC - Highroad)
Rein Taaramäe (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne)

Apologies for no update this evening as promised! I had a few issues with the stage. First 5 attempts to play the stage, the screenshots would not work, and then on the 6th time, the game crashed as the stage finished. Safe to say, I am a little pissed off with it right now, so I will try again tomorrow with some of the graphics lowered.

Not sure what you mean... What does the jersey look like?
couldn't find the jersey but found the bike which had an similair design, I think that is what he meant

Unfortunate that the stage doesn't seem to work. Worst case scenario you can just sim that one, then

@rogvi: Thanks!! Green is what the people want, and Green is what we will deliver!
@Sutty: Well 6 stages have been targeted as winning stages, so the demand for 5 stage wins has been accepted
@Ian: I will try the stage again today. I don't want to sim it, and hopefully just tweaking the graphics will make it work. I had this problem with some of the early cobbled classics, so it is a fixable problem!

Im afraid there will be a disappointment with the victory. it is the stage to monts des alouettes, so a nice steep 5% climb in the last 2 km. I think that rules out Cav
