So, in the town I live in we have an annual bed race. Teams of six push a bed around a two mile course, and then swim through a river with a bed. This was my second time, and it was pretty shambolic. We started 87th out of 90, got into the Top 75 on the road, and then hit the queue to enter the river. Due to the rain you had to wait until there were less than three beds in the river for safety reasons ( ), so we sat in queue, for 22 minutes. It took us 40 minutes in total, but without having to stop we may have won the junior category. Instead, we lost a load of momentum, and the teams that went first off won comfortably. To say I'm frustated is an understatement.
Dude, just sign up for the lawnmower races, or the one where you roll down the hill chasing the cheese
My friend broke his collarbone on the cheese race

He's coming from a country renowned for its cheese, so that makes sense.
Try the high heels race next time, jph27, you might be more successful. |

There is no high heels race. |

I don't want to lecture you on the imperative form but you should have written 'somebody elaborate'. This isn't the present tense you know.

Correction is always welcome, I don't like to sound or look awkward. |

That's not how you do it. Tell me I'm wrong. I'm looking for a pointless argument, much better than actually revising French.

After a busy week celebrating that I'm done with intermediate school, I'm off to Spain tomorrow. Will be nice to relax in the sun for a week before I return home to a couple of weeks of working. Really looking forward to this.
I'll bring my Macbook to stay connected here though. Does anyone know if Suisse is broadcasted on any Spanish channel? Otherwise I'll follow through streams.

Nope, it's not broadcasted here (except in ETB, so lucky you if you're going to the basque country).
Enjoy the heat.

Going to the east coast, so I guess it'll be streams then.
And thanks. Will definitely be a nice change from some rainy weeks here in Sweden.

Does she sing well or does she just get around because she's pretty? |

Yo are asking like there was some actual pop singer that is able to sing. Talent doesn not matter, the best manager and best prefabricated role-model pretty face wins.

That is why dont ever listen to the pop music, as it is only shite and lies painted pink, that is coming from the speakers... listenable pop died with Micheal Jackson for me (especially his 70s and 80s were great).
