A shame that so few think today about WW!
That's a bit rough. Just because people don't post doesn't mean they don't think about it.
And while I'm at it, what's the point in thinking about it ?
To convince yourself that you're such a nice person, and then give yourself a pat on the back.

I haven't found anything about this here so..
Skil - Shimano found a new (international) sponsor as Skil won't be sponsoring the team next season
The new sponsor will be announced around March but as there are races early in the season, the team will be named for the early months "Project 1t4i"
Weird action with these sponsors and the announcement of the sponsor..
I still wonder why a team like HTC - Columbia couldn't get a sponsor but Skil - Shimano? Ok HTC was T-Mobile but they took the Anti-Doping rules after 2008 seriously from what I could see/listen to
Team Bianchi - 2012 Man-Game ProContinental Tour Champions

IF it's ok for the UCI, renember the Quick-step jersey in Tour of Flanders 3 years(?) ago?

Remember Highroad changing to the blue jersey when Columbia became a sponsor?

That was because they hadn't told the UCI. They just showed up on the startline wearing it

mb will be happy. It's good to see teams from non top nations making their way to the top ranks anyway.

Yeah, I like to see that as well I like to see new races from small cycling countries. For example, Czech Republic had 0 races in UCI calendar 3 years ago. Next year, there will be already 4 Czech races - Czech Cycling Tour, Tour of Southern Bohemia, Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha and Hradec Kralove GP. There are 2 small teams which are planning to become ProConti in 2015 or 2016. More of this in other smaller cycling coutries as well, please!

Are you guys sure?
I can't see it announced anywhere, although they did recently announce that trek was sponsoring them next year.
I don't think it would be worth it even if they did, I would much rather they focussed on riding continental tour races to get South Africa qualified for the World Champs

All of these races will be .2 category, won't they?
And I do not believe these 5-years-ahead plans - the sponsors will change mind in that time almost for sure.
I'm just pesimist about our bright future as I know the dumb heads ruling our cycling federation. |

They are professional in that all their riders get paid, not that they are PCT

I think you're right. Now that I've read the article again, there's no mention of a PCT license. Wielerflits must've misunderstood the article and wrote about MTN becoming PCT.
